The label sewn in each of the four pieces of the sheet set does not mention organic cotton. It only mentions cotton. Only the packaging mentions organic cotton. So it is possible that this sheet set is not organic. March 4th, 2022 update On February 22nd, 2022, I received a kind message from Linen Republic about the objective review I wrote on January 17th, 2022 that appears above asking me what can be done to improve my purchasing experience of their product while assuring me that, despite the label, the sheet set I purchased is absolutely organic. I replied that I would be satisfied with having the inappropriately labelled sheet set replaced with an appropriately labelled one but that it was not possible because the labelling issue entered my perception at a time when it was no longer convenient for me to return the sheet set I received. I was pleasantly and unexpectedly surprised when Linen Republic chose to process a courtesy refund for me. In our current world of gigantic companies ready to do just about anything to maximize their profit, often at the expense of the customers, it is Divine to deal with a company that is willing to give justice and equity priority over money. We all make mistakes but owning up to our mistakes and taking steps to correct and repair them are, unfortunately, not yet virtues that are widespread. The people of Linen Republic have demonstrated to me their capacity to honor these virtues and I thoroughly respect and fully appreciate that fact. I therefore choose to replace the previous two-star rating with a four-star one.

These sheets are exactly what I was hoping they would be! The color is great, as pictured ,spot on. They have nice deep pockets that fit my mattress well, not to loose and not too tight. I washed them as directed before the first use. They washed well in my front loader. I used tide detergent pods and no fabric softener. they came out of the washer nicely. I dried the fitted sheet and pillow cases together and the top sheet I dried separately to help minimize wrinkles. The body of the sheets are pretty wrinkle free, Its the edge of the pillow cases and the edge of the top sheet that are wrinkled. But I really don't care about it. these are just for our master bedroom and not for company. If you want to use for company you would only have to touch up the edges. I really wanted some cotton sheets, Im so over microfiber! These sheets feel like sheets are supposed to feel! They are not so soft that they are limp like microfiber. They are not stiff by any means. They are a great cotton sheet! I expect that they will wash and wear well and get a bit softer over time as cotton does. I bought Kingsized sheets and the price point for these is great. They are not expensive and the long fiber cotton will perform even better than some higher thread count sheets because the fiber is actually better. So glad I got these!

The color and softness match the claims. I accumulated a lot of loose strings from unpacking, washing, drying, and making the bed. The pillow cases are not quite big enough for king sized pillows. The loose strings and stuffed sausage appearance of the pillows cause me to question the durability and quality of the sheets. Time will tell.

Initial review, Sheets are rough even after first wash. I will try to wash them a few more times as recommended in the product description and will provide an update. Okay product update…. After washing these sheets five times they were still rough to the touch and stiff. Super disappointing.
