I am in love with these curtains! I needed to buy three sets to replace my previous curtains which are now too short because I removed the ring clips that had began to rust after years of use in our humid climate. I was looking for something simple, in a natural material and white color, that didn’t block too much light. These curtains were exactly what I was looking for. They are lightweight, but provide the right amount of brightness and security to my bedroom. The texture is subtle, but still noticeable, especially when closed. The packaging of the three sets were not identical, but the product itself all appeared to be the same. I was aware from previous reviewers that there would be shrinkage, so I bought the next size up (which I needed anyway since my rods were hung higher to accommodate for the ring clips that I would not be using anymore). They did shrink even though I washed in cold water and dried at a low temperature, but I didn’t measure exactly how much. After washing, drying and ironing, their length is slightly longer than where I like my curtains to hang, but I think they look nice. They were easy to iron and hang on the rod. I spent 2 months searching online for drapes for my living room, which features all white walls with beautifully restored hardwood floors. My living room theme is mostly mid-century modern with accents from several different countries and cultures, from Navajo to Hungarian. I am extremely pleased with the quality of these curtains. The white is a true white with the right striations to make it look more like a linen/cotton blend. They are 100% cotton and took well to the cotton-setting on my iron. It did take me approximately 2 hours to iron 6 panels but I pleated them as well. I have purchased from West Elm, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, etc. and these panels easily compare to what I've found in those stores, at about 1/4 of the price. I am definitely pleased and would buy these again. Note: I ordered 3 sets, and 2 of the packages did have curtains of different lengths. However, amongst the six total curtains, I was able to mix/match to get three complete sets of all the same lengths. ... show more

I was fully prepared to spend at least $100/panel for a decent quality drape as I have in the past from Pottery Barn & Crate & Barrel. I was suspect about these because of the ridiculously low price and could not be happier with everything about them including the color and weave of the fabric. I am an interior designer and very particular about the products I use for my clients as well as my own home. These drapes provide the diffused light I was looking for, pressed nicely with ease, puddle perfectly and hang beautifully!!! My tips to those unhappy for any reason: Press them with a steam iron on a cotton setting vs using a steamer. This will make them nice and crisp and make the pocket on top stiffer to not look “floppy”. Use a thicker 1.25” rod if you plan to use the tab back application as I have done. Space out the area in between the pleats evenly and “train” the pleats to be consistent and uniform vertically. They’ll look like you paid much more for them! Don’t put them in the dryer if you’re worried about shrinkage. Minimally wash in cold water and line dry but I would have them professionally cleaned. At this price it’s affordable! When I first took these out of the package, I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness and texture (I got the white). They seemed to be the length described (108”), so I was shocked when I hung them back up after washing them. I’d say they shrank about 8 inches. I washed them in cold water, delicate cycle, dried on low for about 10 minutes, and then hang dried them. Thankfully, I was able to steam some length back into them (to about 105”), but it took a lot of time and work! I found the best way to stretch them back to the right length was to pull them at the bottom to the length I wanted and steam the taut part. I also steamed them front and back along the entire length of the curtain to get all the wrinkles out. I’m happy with the end result - the texture is great and the back tabs give them a pleated look, but it took a lot of steaming to get them there. I would suggest not washing them at all to keep them the correct length. I’m only taking off one star because I think the price is probably appropriate for the quality of the fabric. ... show more

I originally bought white curtains from Ikea as many people have recommended them but found them to be too yellow when sunlight was hitting them. I searched for something more white and came across these and I'm happy I bought them as they are pure white with no hint of yellow. They are not too sheer and they are ok for bedroom privacy. You need to wash them first - I did light drying and then air dried them. They do shrink a little bit so if you do that, they should not shrink if you wash again. I really wanted the like these - out of the package, the color and fabric weight were just as I expected, and perfect to brighten a basement closet. But because they were deeply creased from the packaging, I tossed them in the washer according to the instructions (cold, delicate). While they washed, I almost bought another pair but wisely waited until the wash cycle was over before committing to another pair. I was surprised (but not really, deep inside) to find that the curtains had shrunk significantly (of course the poly lining didn't, making the shrinking even more ridiculous and insulting). In the photo, the 84" curtains are hanging in an 80" door frame. You can see they're at least 4" too short, and you can see that stupid lining, taunting). So I get to return these and start all over. I'm so tired of getting junk. So, so tired. No standards whatsoever anymore. None. ... show more
