I needed curtains to block light/heat from my patio but didn't want to spend a lot, didn't want black backing and didn't want anything heavy. These fit the bill perfectly. Surprising affordable, have a white backing, block most (but not all, which is what I expected) and I could hang using a simple tension rod. They aren't super heavy, or overly wrinkled. I got the ivory which has a linen-like texture with darker threads within that aren't noticeable. (If you don't want these darker threads, look at another color such as Cloud which I debated getting but wanted something with a bit more contracts against white walls). They block out enough light and heat for my needs. Images show full sun incoming on them. Good buy for drapes that are affordable and look nice--not overly fancy but definitely don't look cheap either ... show more

These curtains saved my sleep. After working a swing shift, I desperately needed quality sleep. For those who work the graveyard, these are a MUST. I live in a very sunny city where theres almost no clouds, so sleeping without these was tough. These make my bedroom BLACK. Theres a slight slight crack of light, but that doesnt bother me at all and im a very sensitive sleeper. The material is thick and also helps keep the heat out during the 100 plus degree summers we have. Absolutely would rebuy. I cant sleep without these even when i dont work graveyard. These curtains are just amazing! I have two cats that shed all year long. The lower half of the white part of the curtains completely covered with cat hair. The outside as well was covered. I Took all of my curtains to the laundromat praying that the cat hair would come out. I was also afraid the curtains would shrink. I used fabric softener in the rinse cycle lo and behold these curtains are bright, white, and not a cat hair in sight. I dried them on low, setting. No shrinkage and no wrinkling out of the dryer. I wish I did this years ago !!! My room is 5 degrees cooler now, yeay ! I bought pure white color and it is exactly as it is pictured here. Curtains are well made, nice heaviness and really block light big time. Wrinkles were minor honestly ( I am neat freak and I did not even bother to do ironing since I will do that after the first wash). I gave them 4 stars since I bought 4 panels and one set is about half inch shorter than the other *sigh. Luckily my window is right above some furniture so the edge is not clearly visible - I did not want to go through return process and waiting for new set. So, my advice is that if you need more than one set, buy all of them at once and open immediately and measure all panels BEFORE you hang them up ; ). ... show more

I rarely leave reviews but for these curtains.. I had to!! As soon as we hung the first set, we ran to order the second one for overnight delivery. The fabric looks amazing, great quality. They are also super lightweight, which we are super impressed about! We used to have other curtains that were sooo heavy to slide open/close, but these are so smooth. They are not 100% blackout, but that doesn’t really bother us. However, that might just be due to our type of windows, as they are inside a “nook”. I’d been dreading getting curtains due to bad past experiences, but we really needed something to block the heat, as this room can get pretty hot. These are lovely curtains that do a great job of darkening the room. They look good open or closed and it has made a big difference in our bedroom. They are thick and have a white lining which I really like they look expensive and high style.

Silly me, I did not take into account the grommets, so they were shorter than I need. Also, you will want to wash and dry these as they have a smell (chemical?) out of the package. I ordered another set. They are great quality blackout curtains. I would recommend these for anyone needing blackout curtains. ... show more

I ordered the shorter drapes first and was so pleased with the quality that I then ordered the longer length for the sliding glass doors. They arrived quickly as promised. To get the folds out, I tossed them 2 at a time in my clothes dryer with a damp towel. They came out wrinkle free. I would highly recommend this product. ... show more
