We love this vest so much we ended up buying two—one for the grandparents’ pool and one for our hot tub at home. We started using it with our 2-year-old last summer and now that he’s almost 3, it’s still working great. What I really like is that it actually helps him learn to swim, instead of just keeping him floating upright like puddle jumpers do. He has to kick and use his arms more, which has made a big difference in his confidence and ability in the water. It feels secure and well-made, and I like that it doesn’t ride up or get in the way when he’s moving around. We use it regularly in both the pool and hot tub and have had no issues so far. This has been my favorite vest yet. My son is 6 years old and he is in size 5T/6T and the medium (3-6yr) fits him perfectly and leaves a little room! My 4 year old wears 4T/5T clothes and it also fits him perfectly with a little room. They are great quality and float really well keeping their chin out of the water. I've bought multiple floaties for my husky 5 year old. I did research for hours trying to find one that would fit him. I gave this one a whirl. It's great material, great quality and super cute! My son complains it hurts under his arm pits and I'm not sure how to fix that issue. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars, which very well may be a personal issue than a product issue. Best Kids learn to swim vest. I wish I had purchased this one first, It is designed so that you can remove or position the floats where you need as you need them to help the child actually learn how to swim. Buy this brand and don't waist your money on other ones and regret it like I did.
