    • Don’t shoot over white!

Clear coat works good and applies well but when I shot it over white, the clear has a tint to it so it dulls the white beneath. If you’re shooting this over anything but a lighter color it should be fine but over white, it’s a no go!

Great 2K clear, haven't had to wet sand & buff anything yet but it definitely sprays great with no issues for me. I've used it for signs & mailboxes, also have refinished a couple sets of automotive headlamps so far.

This was a no brainer, I have already applied this over base coat but as a rookie, I did not wet sand first so it turned out rough from the flakes. I started over and have yet to wet sand, once done I will be ready for this clear coat. It worked perfectly from my spray gun, it applied like it should and I never had runs because of multiple coats. Great stuff once hardened, it becomes very durable as I am using it for my jeep wheels. The photo shows how rough it was and the reason I started over, all my fault but the clearcoat went on with no issues. By the way, I even changed from purple to ‘no more drama’ red. ... show more
