Instillation and removal is fine. They quality is just awful. I bought three sets of these and they have been single use only. This last one got all bent up knowing that they are super delicate and only driving about 100 feet in a snowy backyard to get up the hill.

I got this set of tire chains for an upcoming trip because they are much easier to install than my other sets. They arrived quickly and were well-packaged. They look solid and fit exactly as advertised (I got the larger set because of my larger tires). They are easy on and easy off. Hopefully, I will never find out how well they actually work in the snow, but I am prepared now. The snow scraper/brush was a nice surprise. It separates into two pieces for better storage. Great idea.

My 4wd with almost new tires, 4 weeks after knee surgery and I still got stuck in wet clay like mud. I used a full set of snow chains to get out of the mud. I wanted something as effective but much easier to install. These are easy to install,the plastic on this product is designed to protect your rims. The plastic is very low quality but the chains have enough weight to be effective and durable but not so bulky that they are hard to move, store or install. These are way easier to install then a full set of tire chains, and frankly we don't use the chains that often but we are sure glad we have them when we need them. I give this product 4 *, because of the ratchet tool mechanism. I don't like the tool, ratchet straps have been around for years.

I recently used this device on my Tesla model Y. In a matter of driving 2 mins all the straps broke off. The straps literally looked like they had been chewed. This product is a waste of money and should not be soled to anyone else. Only reason I’m not returning is because I through them away. Horrible product can’t believe they are being sold!! I leave a zero star.

02/10/24 - I have not put these to use yet ... I practice installed. It was very easy. Removal was easy. Light enough store store in the trunk and not notice the additional weight. I don't anticipate using them but once every few years in north Alabama. - My previous chains (cable-type) I ran about 40mph for about 30 minutes and they came apart (as discouraged by the owner's manual). These do no look like they would be a easy to separate at a similar speed.
