    • It does the job but takes muscles and you may still have to bend or sit. A keeper, still.

Basically, it gets in between the cracks and easily claws out not too deeply rooted grass, weeds. However, for more rooted ones, it does take a bit of muscle to work them out. My brother who cleared the sidewalk cracks and also my brick patio had to sit down on the ground to really dig out the more rooted ones. So the medium-long handle does not necessasrily spare you bending over or sitting on the ground. San Francisco had a very long and very wet season (river stream rains) which ended our drought. But also every darn weed and grass just dug roots in deep! In a normal rainy season, this crack weeder will probably be fine. In any case, it's a keeper! SUGGESTION: The company can offer a long handle version (this is a medium handle) or a connecting rod that turns this long handle and with the added leverage, no need to bend or sit for deeply rooted plants. ... show more

At least its sturdy, this weed remover. the blad e is too thick to insert bbetween patio cracks, but should be ok on sidewalks, driveways. Its way too short. My back hurt after using it 5 mins. You;d have to be on knees and scoot every 30 seconds to get the next weed..... If it came with a 4.5 or 5 ft handle and was just as sturdy, then i would give it 4 stars. if it also came with a rubber wrap or ergonomic fit to the handle, then 5 stars. Finally, something to get in those tight areas so you can get the entire root system for the weeds. Pulling them just doesn't get all of the root, so they grow right back.

Not as long as I thought it would be. Pole is not sturdy as I imagined, but does the job. Definetely helps out instead of bending or kneeling down the whole time, but a decent buy.

Skip this one, no added benefit over the others with shorter handles that are consistently sharper. I have several of these and I keep reaching for this with the longest handle but pulling weeds out of cracks takes many whacks!
