This cardigan was exactly what I expected. Sizing was accurate—I’m 5’6”, 155 lbs and ordered my normal size large. It fit nicely, able to button without gaping or pulling, but also not baggy. While described as “cropped,” it actually hits at the waist and works well for business casual outfits or events. The sleeves are a bit wider at the wrist than some I’ve owned, but not sloppy. They’re easy to push up for a 3/4-sleeve look or wear down like the model photos. The fabric is lightweight but not sheer, a nice in-between weight that makes sense for fall, spring, or a climate-controlled office. The color is a perfect shade of red—exactly like the listing. The buttons feel sturdily attached, and it even comes with a spare button on the hang tag, which is a thoughtful touch. It can easily be worn open, fully buttoned, or somewhere in between. It's not as "soft" as some, but might soften after washes, and it's not scratchy. Maybe it will be the thing that helps it hold its shape better over time than some I've had in the past. I have been trying to bulk up my wardrobe lately, so when I saw this sweater, I thought I'd give it a try. First of all, it came packaged beautifully and without any damage. Second, the color is 100% spot on to what is shown in the listing (sidenote, I would describe a typical "camel" color as almost a mustardy brown. this is more of a taupe or even a stone color). The construction of this piece is nearly perfect (a few stray strings never hurt nobody!). The buttons are a complimentary color (nothing worse than finding a gorgeous sweater with ugly buttons!). The fabric is SOFT, just thick enough, and feels expensive. In fact, if you handed this to me with the tags removed, I would literally guess that this came from G-P or B-nana R-public, no joke... It's THAT nice. For reference: I am 5’8”, 215lbs, 40C, hourglass figure but carry most of my weight around my midsection. I got this sweater in an XL and it fits perfectly... very true to size. Currently, this sweater is priced at $22.99 - A STEAL. The only info you need to really take note of here is that this is a hand wash only/hang dry piece. However, that's to be expected because all nice sweaters have the same care instructions! I'm lowkey mad that I have to post an honest review because I want to gatekeep this so bad! *cries* Don't y'all go buyin' all the XLs now, save some for me!

This is the perfect little red sweater. The shade of red is just lovely both bright amd deep. The sleeves are full length which seems to be harder to find these days. I like my little button up sweaters pretty snug to wear over my little dresses without adding too much bulk to the outfit. I ordered a small and this fits a bit more like a medium. Most of my small sweaters can't be buttoned up because it would be a bit too tight because I only wear them open. However this size small I can totally wear buttoned completely up without any pulling between buttons. I'm 5'9 and about 170 pounds. Chest 36 waist 32 and hips are 42. Even though i generally like my little sweaters a bit more snug i don't mind having the option to button this one up If I feel like it. The sweater says that it is NOT machine washable but I have a feeling it would be fine in a small short cold wash. When I wash It I will make an update. Also the sweater comes with an extra button which always nice.

I'm 5'3 and about 140 lbs, and the medium fits well. Its on the looser side, so if you are looking for a tighter more fitted look, you might want to order a size smaller than what you typically wear. It falls to about waist length. Definitely doesn't look like a bolero or shrug as is implied by the listing title. It is just a great, lightweight, soft, flattering cardigan. Very classic and well made. The material is not see through. I feel like the cut and style are very business casual. I would not wear it with formal wear as it looks just a bit too casual. It's great for everyday wear especially when layering over a satin shell or lightweight t-shirt.
