I have two other duvet inserts: one is a heavy weight and the other is called "summer weight" (which is REALLY a MID-WEIGHT). The "summer" weight is too HOT for summer! So I searched for an even lighter-weight insert and found this. At 120gsm it's truly light-weight and I love it. It is quiet. And I love that it has 8 tabs. Paired with a linen or hemp cover (the best!!) it is perfectly warm/cool, quiet and even. Zero sweating! Fit: I have a half a dozen king duvet covers (all linen or hemp). They are huge! I think they all must be king/Cal king. My other duvet inserts are too small and the covers are HUGE...with 6"+ of limp fabric all the way around and about 10" on the button end... with no fill! So I decided to go with the Cal King size [with this insert] and WOW, what a difference! This duvet fills the covers perfectly! I'm thrilled with this Cal King duvet insert and highly recommend this high-quality bedding!

Just received this yesterday…well packaged…easy to “fluff”. This duvet is extremely thin…as I expected for a summer duvet…yet seemed surprisingly warm…almost too warm for me actually. I had the windows open and the temperature dipped into the low 50’s and I was extremely toasty. The duvet which I covered with 100% cotton cover was extremely comfortable and provided the “hotel” coziness that I was looking for. I got the oversized king for my king bed…which is HUGE!! If I purchased again I feel the regular king would be a much better choice!! Other than size at this early stage I’m pleased with this purchase…hopefully it will wear well.

This ended up not being what I originally ordered, but I actually came out ahead on it. The listing showed duvet snaps when I selected it, but what I received was a full queen size duvet insert. When I went back to check, the listing had been changed. Just something to be aware of if you’re ordering, because what’s shown now may not match what it was at the time. That said, I’m not complaining at all. I use duvets regularly, so getting an extra insert is something I’ll definitely use. It worked out better for me in the end. It did take a little effort to get it fully fluffed out. I ran it through the dryer and also worked it by hand to help the fill spread evenly. Once it expanded, it filled out nicely and didn’t look thin or uneven. It fits perfectly inside a queen duvet cover. The corners line up well and it doesn’t bunch or shift around inside. The quilted pockets are on the larger side, which helps keep the fill more evenly distributed instead of clumping in one area. The fill is down alternative, so it’s lightweight and comfortable, but it does feel different compared to real down. It doesn’t have that same airy softness, but it still provides a nice layer without feeling heavy. This is not a comforter and is meant to be used inside a duvet cover. It’s also something you’ll want to care for more like pillows, since washing inserts too often can affect how the fill holds up over time. Overall, even though it wasn’t what was originally listed, it ended up being a useful piece for me. It fits well, fluffs up with a little effort, and makes a good backup insert to have on hand.

This comforter has a good balance between insulation and breathability. It provides enough warmth for comfortable sleeping on summer nights when the air conditioner is running, without feeling overly heavy or trapping too much heat. The lightweight construction makes it comfortable for hot sleepers, while still maintaining a soft and fluffy experience. The stitching and sealing quality are good, with no noticeable fiber leakage during use, good for people who are sensitive or allergic to natural down feathers. Considering the quality and comfort, the price is reasonable, and I have been very happy with it so far.

This is listed as 100% cotton fabric for the cover of this duvet. IT IS NOT. IT IS 40% POLYESTER. The quality is poor- it came with a huge defect in the stiching. The squares are barely filled with down. It's flat and sounds like a plastic bag. POLYESTER DOES NOT BREATHE. FOR $150 THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. Now I have to spend gas returning this crap! I NEVER would have purchased this knowing it was POLYESTER. Do not buy this.
