***************************************************** UPDATE: Best for shoes!! I bought a second shelving unit to make room for additional pairs of shoes. This has helped so much since my room is small and I don’t like keeping shoes on the floor. I’m able to fit approx 16-18 pairs side by side per shelving unit but that’s because I have tall heels and don’t want to stack any shoes on each other. If you need to cram more you definitely have the space on these. This shelving option is preferable over trying to put together one of those plastic cube organizers that can easily fall apart. This took me 10 min to assemble and they are stable and resilient enough to slide around the room if you need to move it. ******************************************************* I'll start by saying I specifically bought this to use as a shoe rack and I'm very pleased! After wasting a lot of time browsing available shoe racks on Amazon, I realized they all either looked cheap, didn't have enough support for the shoes to sit on, or didn't have enough room to fit the shoes without looking squished or having to cram. So then I looked for any simple shelving unit I could use. Found this and could tell it would be perfect for all my heels. I was able to fit 19 pairs comfortably. They are not crammed and they are not piled on top each other. Though this could easily be used for sneakers or other styles and you could use more of the space probably. I got this because I wanted to use my linen closet as a linen closet after using it as a pantry for a while in my small apartment. Since I don’t get too much dry products I also made it a coffee bar at the top. Reading the reviews, I was kind of scared of making my purchase. If you’re debating it GET IT!! the supports are plastic but very sturdy. I’m not sure what the other people were putting on their shelf but none of the shelves are curving in the middle from weight. I have my Keurig on there and like 20 things of canned food at the bottom with no issues. It still wiggles when you try to wiggle it, but for this use I won’t be wiggling it on purpose at all. It could also be super cute for decor & other uses as well! I LOVE these shelves for the price! I have 4 of them. They are EXTREMELY quick and easy to assemble, no tools required. You can't even tell the tubes are plastic unless you're right up close to the shelf. They are pretty sturdy and even come with hardware to mount them to the wall if you're afraid of little ones tipping them over. I would absolutely buy this product again! UPDATE: Still think this is a great product for the price AND the company has EXCELLENT customer service! I own several of these shelves and just happened to get one that was defective and the tubes that hold the shelves together cracked and broke at the point they screw into each shelf. I contacted their customer service requesting replacement parts and had them within less than two weeks, completely free of charge. I will definitely continue to buy these shelves, no issues with any of the others I own). ... show more

I love these shelves! They’re easy to assemble and super lightweight. They’ve been perfect for us - we’re military so we move a lot. I keep buying these shelves to adjust to our different storage needs. They have held up to being used as storage for canned goods so they’re fairly strong too!

It's not a bad rack per say...but you should be aware it's plastic...I didn't know that when I bought it...which is probably my fault I was in a rush and it was one of the best sellers under display shelf. But just be wary. It's plastic and breaks fairly easy. It's also pretty unstable in the sense that it moves easily or sways if something brushs it. So it's honestly a okay shelf for anything that isn't figures. I bought it for resin figurines but I worry it wont be solid enough for that...great for boots and funkos though....And looks good... ... show more
