That’s good if you have other passengers that it can reach but for me I wish I’d gotten the shorter one even if it costs a bit more. May exchange. I have an old iPhone 8. My Apple cable broke a year or so after it was new and I bought a competitor's audio cable. From that point forward my voice calls no longer played on my auto speakers. Oddly, the ringtone of an incoming phone call played on the auto speakers ...no voice. I was very happy to learn this cable works 100% like my Apple cable. The connector at the phone is reinforced so I expect it to last longer than the other cables I've used. The auto audio sound is notably more crisp & clear with this cable. As the title says, I had one of these for two or three years before I needed to replace it. Like most chargers and cables, it had eventually gotten to the point where it was worn down around the head and would stop working if it was jostled or not at the right angle. For the price, it worked for long enough that I figured I'd just replace it with the same thing, and I might add one of those little cable protectors to see if I can keep it in better shape for longer.
