I bought these in August of 2023 and both are now unusable. The first adapter started with audio cutout after 2 months and the second started 2 months after I started using it. So, I guess you get what you pay for. Certainly not expensive, but bummer i have to order again but will try some other vendor. I have had to buy this item before. First time was from a different company. The jacks I received from the other company lasted me over a year. I use these to plug my iPhone into my car tape deck. I received the package quick, was given more then I had realized I was even getting which was exciting, however I plugged in the first one and it snapped in my phone almost immediately and I had to use tweezers to take them out. The second one worked for about a day when I noticed the sound quality was not good at all and it kept giving out. After about a week it stopped transmitting altogether and I thought maybe it was the car auxiliary cassette player so I bought a new one only to realize later it was the jack again. The third one in the pack so far has been ok but I know its only a matter of time and I am currently waiting for another pack to come in to replace these faulty jacks. ... show more

First, I agree with the reviews that say this dongle is touchy and loses connection when attached to an iPhone and carried around. That said, when my phone is stationary the connection is good. Second, the sound quality of the DAC in the dongle is fantastic when paired with a cheap pair of IEMs (for those wanting to know, Linsoul Salnotes Zeros - first version, not the second). The sound is superior to the Apple brand dongle. The Apple brand does stay connected when moving around. But if I'm doing something else while listening to music, Bluetooth earbuds are just fine for sound quality. EDIT - 11/12/2024 - I also ordered the USB-C version of this dongle to see if it could improve the sound quality of an old cheap Android phone. It did indeed. ... show more

One of the things that I noticed about Apple over the years, is that they had slowly withered away from the massive success of the Ipod legacy. The Ipod Touch had ended this year, which put their main emphasis on people having to be forced from the Ipods, and have to buy either cheaper MP3 players, which don't do much for them, or having to buy Apple Iphones instead to replace the Ipod Touch. Fr me, I chose to buy a unlocked Apple Iphone, without having a carrier on it to make it more like the Ipod Touch in the end because I had to replace the it instead. But still, I needed to purchase headphone adapter, so I could listen to my music on-the-go. This 3-pack of lightning headphone adapters work very well on my Apple unlinked Iphone. Terrible product. Didn't want to spend $10 for one from Apple but I guess you get what you pay for. My old Apple one lasted many years and I only needed to replace it because I lost it. I bought this two pack and the first one broke in the first week I used it. I typically put my phone in my pocket, wear headphones, and put the headphone wire down my shirt so it can't snag on things. Well just me rotating my torso was enough to bend the lightning adapter side and make the first one unusable. The second one I treated even more like a baby but seems defective out of the bag, a possible short in the wire itself, because when I'm driving down a straight, smooth road like an interstate it will randomly cut out and I'll have to unplug/replug from my phone a few times to get it going again. Within 10-20min it will cut out again. Keep in mind I keep my phone in a cupholder so it sit pretty much perfectly still. Bottom line, avoid this product and just pay the crooks that are Apple ... show more
