I bought this and the beautiful blue/turquoise color. I got a shorter length because of where this particular window is and the fact that curtains down to the floor don’t work well in that spot. I was replacing black out curtains so I knew I wanted another set of black out. These are thick, but soft, heavy duty room darkening curtains. I have no issues with sunlight, but you should know that these are not black out curtains. If you are super sensitive to light when you sleep, you may want to line the window with the black out. If the area that you’re putting this up in has a bit of shade, you’d be absolutely fine. The one feature I really like about these curtains is the tabs in the back which allow you to have an easy slide but look almost like a rod curtain. I’ve not seen this before and I absolutely love it and I’ll buy more like this. ... show more

These curtains are okay. They're pretty sturdy and have a nice feeling to them. But they are not true blackout curtains. If you buy them in a darker color they can be but in a lighter shade they aren't. I bought two sets, one for my living room in a blue and one for my bedroom in an off-white. The blue does a mostly complete job of blocking out all light but the off-white still has light come through. They don't reduce the room to total darkness, even with the blinds closed under the curtains. ... show more

The only thing I'm not sure I love about these curtains is how different the color looks depending on where the sun is. When the sun is hitting them from behind, they look very grey, but when the sun goes down at night, they look very blue. It kind of drove me crazy at first, but now I've gotten used to it, and it's kind of fun. I do love the fabric. It needed light ironing coming out of the package, but the fold lines ironed out with very little eaffort, plus it's so soft, and it hangs well. The curtains do a great job of blocking the sunlight, and it really does feel like they are keeping the room cooler. Overall, I really like them and would say they are a good deal. ... show more

I love that they're weighty, but not heavy, and they hang very nicely. Also, this is my first time having curtains with the back tabs and I absolutely love the look and how it shows the pleats much better, and makes them look more elegant. Very pleased all around!

Ordered these curtains once and got them very quickly! I realized though that I needed more, so I quickly ordered another set. Only one curtain was in the packaging. Window is gonna look pretty weird with only one curtain... wanted to report it was missing but Amazon only gave me the option to return it.
