  • Exact replacement for 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport
These lift supports popped right in like the originals and restored perfect function to the operation of the glass hatch. Can't really comment on longevity yet.

  • $15/pair vs $190 from Jeep dealer
I was about to return these 2 rear window struts for my 2004 Jeep Liberty. I saw some comments that the window would be hard to close. I could barely collapse either of the units by pressing it against the floor (before installing it), so I couldn't imagine how hard two units would be to close the window. So I checked local parts stores. $35 each. Called Jeep dealer. $95 each with a 7 day wait. These were parts prices, not including installation. So I thought I'd give these a try. Easy to install, easier than the instructions call for. You gotta use a small screwdriver to pop the old ones off, but you can just pop the new ones on with a gentle whack of your palm without removing the spring. They work well. My 3 star rating for Longevity is simply due to the fact they've only been installed 30 minutes. No idea how long they will last. Yes, they're harder to close than the ones I took off, but the original ones were harder when the car was new. We bought the Jeep new. C'mon Jeep, $95 each.....really? ... show more
