I just needed something to carry larger items back and forth to family dinners, pot lucks at the office and things like that. "The publix bag didn't look good and didn't keep things warm". This really is a solid built product and I have taken warm things to the office right out of the oven, and it stays warm for hours. Sometimes you don't even need to heat it back up. Really nice product, and if you use the glass ware, I feel like this is padded enough that if you drop it, they aren't going to break and shatter. Really like it.

This has been a perfect acquisition for the start of the holiday season! From mid-November to mid-January there won’t be a week when we won’t have a gathering where this will be used. Each of the two compartments is large enough to hold a 9x13 casserole dish or baking pan with room to spare. The compartments are also well insulated so the food will stay hot (or cold depending on what you are bringing). The inner lining is a smooth aluminum foil material and is easy to clean with soap and water if anything spills. We typically have lids for the dishes so this hasn’t been an issue, but it is nice to be able to give the inside a quick wipe down to keep everything sanitary for the next use. The exterior material is a heavy-duty oxford fabric that is not only durable but also attractive. We opted for the basic black but thought the gray was appealing too. The “soft-sided” carrier easily collapses down for convenient storage, but the non-rigid sides can pose a bit of a problem if you have items in both compartments. As long as you are holding the carrier by the handles, gravity works to your benefit by keeping the dishes separated, but if you set the carrier down, the top container will settle onto the lower one. If you are using dishes with fairly rigid lids and keep the heavier of the two items on the bottom, you’ll be fine, or you can remove the top container while still holding the handles, but the side-walls alone are not enough to keep the top weighted container from settling onto the bottom one. Overall, this is a very well-made and convenient product for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

This is a good carrier to carry your casseroles in to keep hot food hot and cold foods cold. Easy to clean if something spills on the inside. Great way to keep things contained while transporting.

I ordered the double decker insulated casserole carrier to use for transporting dishes to our family’s household for Thanksgiving and other gatherings. The carrier is very well made and sturdy. It has two compartments that are well insulated. A single casserole sized pan slides easily into each compartment to stack on top of each other. Once inside the handles make it easy to carry. I liked that the outside stayed pretty cool to the touch so that I didn’t have to worry about the pans damaging my car seats while still keeping the inside food warm.

Got so tired of food getting cold or spilling all over my car whenever we went to parties! This is the idea item to have to transport casseroles and keep them warm ! It’s two layers so I can bring two different meals or a double batch ! I also love how easy it is to clean if any spills inside !
