Anyone who has spent some time shopping for fishing supplies at any retail store knows that this hobby/sports is getting very expensive. Any decent lure retails $4 or more. If you fish from the shore, losing one or two of these is a regular thing for each outing. That is why my recent decision on choosing the right rig is also heavily influenced by “how much is this going to cost me if I lose it?” That is the beauty of this kit. It is ridiculously inexpensive so that I do not cry over losing a lure here or there. It is quite complete actually. With the exception of bobbers, all you need is a fishing rod with a line and this tackbox. The cardboard box is quite attractive. I cannot believe the amount of items stuffed into this tiny tackle box. The pliers could be used as a scissors or de-hooker. Its quality is not great but I like its compactness. Overall, it’s a great value and a cute gift box for beginners.

This tackle kit seems like a very nice starter kit for fishing ponds or lakes where you will not encounter large fish. Everything included seems sized for 16" bass or smaller and panfish. I think fighting anything over 16" will just bend the hooks straight. They seem very small for fishing bass. You might have better luck with the crankbait and the popper, as they seem like a more appropriate size for some decent bass sizes. All in all, it's a nice kit with a variety of different lures and tackle that seems like a perfect starter set for fishing ponds. The box it comes in is nice and compact and keeps everything organized. I like it and recommend if that's the kind of kit you are looking for.

Looking for a great tackle box, I have been searching for a box that has everything I need for my fishing experience and have a relaxing day at the lake. This tackle box is impressively stuffed full of 148-pieces of fishing lure. My favorite piece in this box has to be the frog! It's lifelike and ready to catch a big walleye fish. However, this isn't the only cool part of this box. There are quality baits and accessories with jig heads and hooks. Additionally there are set pliers for putting on weights, unhooking the hooks and other needs when fishing. Finally, I want to mention how everything fits nicely into the box (even though there is a lot of stuff) and it's a small compartment where you have what you need to go fishing. I really like the different options for whatever fishing opportunity you might be heading to explore. It's great for a quick trip, to give as a gift or even for a seasoned angler. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a variety of fishing lures.

This is a nice assortment of fishing tackle that comes in a small tackle box. It comes with fishing pliers, which are junk. Its' hard to unlock and the action isn't very smooth. Its' also small. There are several common tackle in here, like weights and swivels with clips (3 different sizes). I really like the eye-beads. I did try it on Texas-rigged senkos. I'm not sure if it helped catch fish but it couldn't hurt. The top water "Popper" actually works. I threw it into some tall reeds and caught a bass as soon as it cleared the reeds. The soft plastics are ok. I usually stick to Senkos when fishing for bass so I didn't get to try them out. But they look ok to me. For $12.99 at the time of this review, this is an outstanding value for what you get.

Got the 148 piece tackle kit with box It has all the basics to get you started including Crankbait, Hooks, Jig Heads, drop shot weights and bullet weights, Spinners, Kast Master Style spoons, Plastic Worms, Swivels, a Bass Frog, a couple to water lures, swimbaits, and a few other accessories including a set of pliers. It's a good overall kit to get you out on the water. The box is so so but you get a lot of tackle for the price and they will definitely catch fish. I'll be gifting this to my son to start a fishing tackle collection of his own. Everything seems pretty well made and better than I thought they would be for the price. Would recommend for the beginning fishermen or seasoned fisher that needs some spare gear.

This set comes with just enough to get you out on the water and start doing damage! This compact size makes it great to throw into a backpack if you are shore fishing. The wide variety of different hooks, lures, weights, worms, etc. allows even the most novice fisherman to find something that will fill the stringer. Great giftable little kit for any new angler. It could be a tad better with a slightly larger size of a case to keep everything separate and allow for growth.
