First of all, I bought this kayak because I’ve borrowed a friends before and it is great for the local ponds we fish on. The only reason I’m leaving for stars is because the description from the seller indicates that it comes with a paddle, but it does not. Kayak came just fine but it didn’t have a paddle like advertised also doesn’t have a pole holder like advertised. Took over a month to come which wasn’t a big deal but didn’t have any of the accessories advertised.

    • i do not own this kayak
I am in the market to upgrade my beginner kayak to one that will track well and work for longer distances. ( I currently have a pelican 8 ft Argo) A friend had this kayak on a river trip and i had the pleasure of trying it out. I was not particularly pleased with it. The foot pegs had rounded edges, and my feet kept slipping off of them. the seat was uncomfortable , and the water holder was shallow. Keep in mind that I paddled in this thing for 3 hours, wishing I was back in my little ARGO. The tracking was horrible, but about the same as my Argo; non-existent. every time you stop paddling, maybe get a drink of water or take a picture, the boat will drift and turn off course.... does not stay straight. The attachment for the handles on front/back of the boat are pretty flimsy, as my friend's handles had already broken. Our kayak trip was really fun- had a great time regardless of the boat, but I won't be purchasing this kayak any time soon... ... show more
