I must say I took it out for the first time, and I absolutely loved it. Couldn’t believe how it cut through the water so easily and I was out on a bit of a windy day. I bought two of these Lifetime Hydros Angler Kayak at the end of summer and was able to enjoy the fun with my kids on the lakes. These Kayak fits in our Honda Odyssey leaving the driver and one passenger seats. The Kayak is a lot more stable than the 10 feet Kayaks and it's a lot of fun. We spent a couple of hours every time on the lakes just kayaking and fishing on it. They are not too heavy, just enough for a regular man to carry to the lakeside. Highly recommended. ... show more

I purchased this to have a smaller kayak that I could throw in the bed of my truck or on top of my suv, it's perfect for a little fishing or just cruising around the lake. It's easy to use, fairly stable and very comfortable (I have added a padded seat). It's very comfortable for me but I'm 5'5" and may not be so for a much taller person. Bought for my son, 13 years old and 80 lbs. Took him literally 3 seconds to get the hang of it, he was paddling all over the place and loving it. I rocked it back and forth in the water with him on it and I would really have to try to capsize it. That goofy looking, bulbous rear end keeps him high and dry. I like it. I can pack it around with ease. It fits very well in the bed of my truck. I guess the paddle could be longer if thats even worth mentioning. It does what it is supposed to do which is float. Turns fairly easily.

Really happy with my purchase. I suggest an anchor so you don't spend most of your time paddling to compensate for drift. It's a great beginner kayak i get a butt if soggy bottom but freon what i hear that's pretty normal for top mount kayaks

I used it for a couple of hours in a river. Very stable for its size, good direction, good speed. I did not get wet at all as others mentioned. That is probably a matter of size or being used to kayaks. I am 6 feet tall and 165lbs.
