The material is soft but the boots stand firm so they can be used casual or dressier. They do not bunch up and I love the fit, support and fashion. The lower heel is still fashionable and I highly recommend.

I have a wide foot and got these in wide size. I have no problem with them being too tight on my foot. Fits nicely. Even on the calf area, I always have a hard time finding boots that fit as they never zip up on my calf. They are a little snug but they zip up. Nothing that a little wear can’t fix to stretch out. Over all very happy with this purchase.

I wear a 6.5 W in footwear, which is kind of hard to find. After seeing that these boots came in W sizes and reading the reviews about them being wide in the calves I decided to try them. My calves are 16" around and these boots were at least an inch to an inch and a half too short to zip, they were plenty wide in the foot part but not anywhere else. I think the reviews saying that they're wide in the calves were written by people with skinny legs because if your calves are bigger than about 14" these WILL NOT fit you! Don't always trust the reviews, always carefully read the item description! Returning.

I liked that they fit my wide feet. I’m a size 8, so I got a size 8 and they fit perfectly. What I didn’t like about them is that they were a little tight on my calves and it’s a little hard to zip up.
