From my wife...Attractive, comfortable foot bed though could use more arch support, good height. A bit of work to get on, even with the side zipper. But the big problem is that there is reinforcement in the toe area....after wearing for a couple of hours, shopping both my big toes started to really hurt. Looked at my feet when I got home and there was a redness on the inside of each toe. After examining, I realized the toe area had no give due to some hard reinforcement. My big toes no longer curve inward at all as I wear pumps so seldom now. Have worn too long to return, will either donate or give to my daughter.

I ordered 2 sizes at the same time, in case one size went out of stock before I could get one returned, so I could make sure I got the right size. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 in shoes, but you never know when you're buying online. These are true to size, and the size 8s are going back. Love these boots so much! I've had good success in the lifestride brand of shoes holding up well, so the boots were definitely worth a shot. They zip up on the side, so getting my foot into the boot opening wasn't a problem. (If you have wide feet, it may not be as easy for you, but well worth the trying.) Zipper works just fine on both boots. Love the look of this boot, and they were comfortable to walk around in. They're not real leather, but I live in FL, so I don't expect to wear them that often. At least, not enough to make the cost worth it to buy real leather ones. It does get a little cold in the winter months, so they'll be good to have when it does. For the price, they were worth it to me (got them on sale for $42!). They look well-made, so I'm happy.

I have foot drop. Meaning my foot just hangs down. I cannot control it. This causes shoe shopping a pain in the butt and online shopping HELL. I have only been able to find boots that have a slight heel and look nice once. I took a shot with these. I was incredibly worried about it with the price. This is money well spent. I love how they look. They support my foot well and are beautiful. They are a little tight but that is because I need to wear them and stretch them to fit me. They are so comfortable and look amazing I don't want to take them off. The only problem is I need a black pair now. The same height, width, size, everything. Thank you for the amazing product. I am so excited now that I can wear my nicer clothes and complete my look without destroying it with ugly shoes.

I have 3 different styles so far, the black and brown of this shoe, and ash and black of another style of this brand. I am now a Lifestride customer for life and my feet thank me for it also. I loved the way these boots looked online but they did not feel right once I got them and tried them on. I am returning these for a refund and hope to find a boot that does not rub on the front part of my ankle, which is very annoying. I don't always wear long socks which might help this feeling so I hope to find some other boot. The only good thing is the wide size 8.5 that fit great...I just can't stand the front top of the boot that digs into my skin on my front part of my ankle.
