I have been looking for a pair of riding boots for a month. Most of them were $98 per pair and ended up returning them because my toes stacked on top of each other. But these are true comfort. I have a wide feet but petite ,5.1’ so that is a double sucker to find a good riding boots. The shaft is perfect. I appreciate the stretchy fabric in the back, boots don’t pull my pants down. Calves feel comfortable and my toes laying flat inside the soles. Bottom of these boots have great skid. Not one of those cheap slippery materials. The height of these boots sit right below my knees. My shaft measure 12.56”. If you have a very wide calf , make sure to measure before buying. Overall, I’m really happy with these boots. I order the brown ones so I can get away with wear black riding pants. Simple design, doesn’t make my legs look big. 5 stars all the way. ... show more

I needed a brown pair of tall dress boots to wear to a wedding so that I can walk and dance easily. My knees are painful so heels are no longer an option for me. So I went on a quest. I read so many reviews. You just have to take a chance because some of these reviews leave me wondering if people even read product descriptions anymore. These boots had the look that I wanted but would they actually fit my 18" calves and short 5'3" legs properly. Imagine my surprise when I put them on and I zippered them up without any effort at all! I tell you, I am thrilled! The back is sorta like a ribbed sweater. It hugs your legs yet there is plenty of room for tucking in jeans or pants. The toe box is adequate. I can probably wear a medium weight sock with them. The footbed has some spring to it with a medium to low arch. I have high arches so will add an arch support. I may have an issue with the higher heel cup. It hits me above the ankle and may cause a blister until they are broken in. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase and will get more wear out of them than I thought. ... show more

These boots have a LOT of stretch potential. I actually think it's a bit too much and I may just put a stitch in to feel more secure. However these do fit perfectly. I got a size 11M and I'm 5'8". They are very comfortable and look nice.

I ordered these because I have trouble getting tall boots because of my wide calves. 16" on one side 16 1/2" on the other. I am an anomaly, I know. These fit perfectly and are super comfortable. I have enough room for my big uneven calves and can wear normal socks with them. I also was able to zip them over thick leggings!! So happy!!! I sit at a desk most of the day, but there are times I need to walk around my facility, and I can do so without any problems. They are also comfy on bare legs if I am wearing a long skirt. I have a small calf, and I was worried about how it was going to fit. The fabric area could stretch for a larger calf, but fit my smaller calf beautifully. I was very pleased with the boots and Lifestride is known for their overall comfort.
