Shoes are exactly as pictured. I have normal width feet, but some shoes purchased recently have been too tight. With that in mind, I ordered a 6W just to be safe and I might have been able to order my normal size 6. They fit pretty well, only a little loose. I'm sure wearing them with socks vs. tights will make them fit more "normal". They are extremely comfortable. There's some cushion to the bottoms where your heel goes, so your feet aren't sitting on a hard sole. I have tried on so many ankle boots and these are BY FAR the most comfortable boots I have ever had. I think they are more comfortable than my walking shoes/sneakers. They are really well made. I live in an area with a lot of rain and I thought they might look bad after getting wet, but they are holding up. I know they are a little more pricey than some of the other boots that are similar but they are really worth the price, I think they will last a long time and they are sooo comfy! ... show more

I needed a shoe for my work Christmas party. Great look for a casual dress with leggings in Minnesota winters. I have wide feet, high arch, and a high instep. These aren’t really “wide” shoes as they advertise. They fit more like a normal size- not narrow. They where just a bit tight on the sides. They do fit comfortably enough and my feet didn’t hurt at all the whole 5 hours I wore them. I did get a half size larger then my usual size. I know that Lifestride ALWAYS delivers on comfort for work shoes and that there’s a little compromise in the style area for me with that but I always choose them given the alternative of foot pain. I bought these to work at an all-day conference because I wanted to be kind of cute without limping home by the end of the night. I was surprised that these weren’t just comfortable they felt GOOD on my feet! Beyond that, I was pleasantly surprised that these somehow looked better than the picture in person. I absolutely love these boots. They are so comfortable and I have gotten several compliments on them. The only thing I don't like about them is that the heel color wears off when I drive, and the heel caps wore through in less than a year. But, to be fair, I probably wore these shoes 4 days a week at least for a year. I paid $22 to have the heel caps replaced and they are as good as new. And I bought some heel and sole edge dressing to recolor the heels when the color wears off. I highly recommend these boots. I am considering getting them in tan as well. ... show more
