Got this shoe mohave a quick and comfortable 'slide-on' near my door. At 80 y.o. I look for comfort and ease, and a wider toe box is helpful too. This shoe isn't super wide in the toe, but it is roomy and comfortable. The inside is well cushioned and feels tome as if I have excellent arch support - the heel and ball of the foot are also cushioned and so offer comfort for 'older' feet. I can't know how well the cushiony feeling will last, but will find out. The exterior of the shoe is average looking, and by the I mean I wasn't looking for a dress shoe or something to wear when I go out to lunch, but its a good all around see for wearing to grocery, housework, walking the dog. It feels stable at this point, though I would switch to a sneaker if I washing something that needed more top support - I imagine that going up or steep downhills in a shoe without laces could be risky as you can 'lose' the shoe, but doubt that anyone would consider this kind of activity in a shoe like this - more for city wear. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Update: I have worn these shoes several times now and find they are actually quite comfy after all. Am thinking about ordering in a different color because they look great and wear well. I ordered these in the taupe color and I’m keeping them because they are really cute but they aren’t great for walking because then don’t have much arch support. They also are quite stiff but am hoping they will soften a little with wear. I just won’t be wearing them if I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking. Actually, I wish they had a size 10 1/2.

I ordered half size bigger and wider to make sure they fit comfortably. Unfortunately, I had to return them as they did not fit me, it is because I ordered bigger than my size. It is not the seller's fault, otherwise, these shoes are very beautiful. I will order my size again definitely. Please order the actual size if you are planning to.

I have had problems with metatarsalgia and had a huge trade show coming up, needed something comfortable for my feet. I had actually ordered 4 different pairs of shoes, hoping that at least one of them would work for me. This LifeStride shoe came in, looked cute - and when I tried them on they felt really good. Well, I made the mistake of not breaking them in prior to wearing. First off, I am a true 6-1/2 wide, so I usually size up. These shoes were labeled as 7 wide. By the time I got out of my car to the place where I needed to be in the convention center - maybe about 1/3 mile - I already had a blister on the back of my heel. Within 3 hours, the ball of my foot hurt so bad that I had to sit on a high bench for the rest of the show (stupid me for not packing a back-up pair). These were not wide in the slightest - I had pattern imprints on my feet. This is too bad because I REALLY liked the shoes. I don't think that I am able to exchange them for the next size up (Amazon only lets you exchange for the exact item) and I am debating even if I should try to just return and purchase new. Not used to spending a lot of money on shoes so this is going to be a tough one.

My feet are wide, with bump outs on both sides, and flat. -Width is GREAT -Padding is GOOD = WAY better than expected for this price point -Look is cute for dress or pants -Nonslip is great Yet I returned cuz my feet are shaped like a triangle. This shoes's width is encompassing entire shoe. (If I were still ≈ 250-ish # it'd probably fit great but at 160-ish #) I need the arch thru heel portion to be slimmer. I probably need to stick w/ straps & laces to secure the back-of-foot slim in conjunction with triple-wide toe box. So 5⭐️ shoe (but -1⭐️ cuz it didn't work for me personally).

Love the detail in the cut outs and stitching of the shoe. They look like actual leather. But the size 7 runs small and are so tight that after a few hours of out and about, they hurt. But since they're synthetic I think I can stretch them myself with a hair dryer and my shoe stretchers.
