As someone has always been interested in essential oils, but never informed enough to know where to start, this elegant little kit offered the perfect launchpad. Putting the “essential” in essential oils, LifeLines has assembled a thoughtful set of oils and diffusers to help laymen like me discover new scents and practical applications compatible with any lifestyle. With three formulas to promote your desired headspace (calm, focus, energy), deployed across three functions that are near and dear to my heart (writing, fidgeting, relaxing), the contents of this travel set are designed to meet you wherever you are, whatever you’re doing. The care that went into the design and quality of the products (and the set as a whole) are evident right out of the box. From the carrying case to the items inside, everything is intuitive to use (even the dispensing mechanism is fidget friendly), easy on the eyes (soothing colors, smooth curves), and comfortable in the hands. The diffusers are nimble, portable, and uncomplicated. And the variety of pleasant scents all deliver on their labels, whichever tool you’re using to diffuse them. Overall very happy and impressed with the whole set, and look forward to using it both within the home and on the go. This travel set is well-designed, the diffusers are easy to load, and the scents are pleasant and not overwhelming like some other essential oils I’ve tried. I brought the portable diffuser and the calm oil (my favorite, it reminds me of Earl Great Tea) on a work trip with me this week and it helped with my insomnia. I'm especially fond of the diffuser pen- it's become part of my nightly journaling routine. Overall the kit was exactly what I expected it would be, with one exception: the grounding stone. I’ll be honest, I had extremely low expectations for the grounding stone. I’m a restless person by nature, my brain works best when my body is in motion. When I first started corporate life I tried every fidget device imaginable to keep me engaged during long calls. Spinners, pop bubbles, even some hideous “fidget jewelry”, I’ve tried them all with varying little success. I work from home and eventually, I ended up just getting a trampoline for under my desk and tying/untying increasingly complex knots with my hands during meetings. All that is to say my low expectations came from experience. And the grounding stone blew me away. It's an extremely satisfying fidget toy. The textures are varied, the opening mechanism is smooth, and the built-in hourglass adds visual distraction. I've started keeping it in my pocket daily. I don't think the grounding stones are sold separately but if they were I'd stock up on them!

Pleasantly surprised at the high quality of each item, including the case. The scents are all great. One disappointment though was I received crisp mountain air bottle instead of In Bloom bottle as advertised...I was looking forward to the floral scent.

I really enjoyed the Lifelines gift set and it is a great choice if you are looking to sample a variety of the products Lifelines has to offer. I would especially recommend this gift set if you are just starting to explore essential oils and calming methods as it’s a great way to test out a variety of products to find out what you like and don’t like or what products work better for you. The peppermint scent was energizing and invigorating and the grapefruit scent was calming and soothing. The wall diffuser worked really well and I was able to smell the oils from anywhere in the apartment regardless of what room I had the diffuser in. I also really enjoyed the grounding stone and found it was a great tool to use when dealing with anxiety. Paired with the soothing grapefruit oil, it really helped to calm me down and center me. Overall, I’d highly recommend this gift set!
