So I recently bought this, my son was complaining that his Xbox was overheating. Apparently that’s a common issue when I looked at my Microsoft account to have it repaired they wanted almost the same cost as purchasing a new one. Found this and thought why not try this first. So far, it has solved the problem and my saved my wallet. I would recommend this if you are experiencing the same issue.

The cooling fan works, but the rechargeable batteries do not. I read the reviews and listing to ensure I charged & put them into the Xbox remote correctly. It consistently showed that the batteries were fully charged (green light) but they did not work. I ordered this set mainly because of the batteries too which was disappointing. Amazon sent me a replacement (and return label for the first) but that arrived as a used set with instructions for a completely different product and no batteries at all.

Charging the controller is a struggle at times, do tend to use an alternate way. But the cooling pad and all the other features love up to its description. Very sturdy!

They do work. You likely have them in backwards, it looks like they would go in a certain direction but it’s actually opposite, the small metal tab between the positive and negative must make contact with the metal grooves on the controller, also the positive and negative must be flipped to be opposite from the positive and negative prints on the controller to make it line up correctly when it’s backward - hard to explain but it should have the arrow to the left and the writing right side up if they are in correctly, hope this helps! I had a lot of trouble figuring that out

The fan was alright it worked a little but barely and the batteries didn’t work at all! I have 2 controllers I put both batteries in and had them in differently for each controller so I can make sure they wasn’t in wrong and no matter how I put the batteries in it would still not charge! I let them sit for a while and nothing I’m disappointed
