Love this car for our baby girl. She loved it! Like the fact it has a remote and can help her out when she gets stuck. Huge hit with all the kiddos. I would’ve given it 1 star before figuring out the problem lol! The car is adorable and works great NOW, but the instructions for the battery connection were absolutely terrible and need to be updated immediately. If your car won’t turn on, no lights, no movement, no sound — CHECK THE RED BATTERY CONNECTION. This was the issue the entire time. There is a red wire connector that must slide securely onto the red (+) battery terminal tab. The instructions do NOT explain this clearly at all. The little clear plastic cap covering the battery tab confused me because it made it seem like the wire wouldn’t fit. I had to remove the plastic cap first to properly connect the metal piece to the battery terminal. Once I connected it correctly, the lights came on instantly and the car worked perfectly. Important: * Red wire goes to RED battery terminal * Push the connector on firmly and straight * The car will NOT power on at all until this is connected properly I searched YouTube and couldn’t find a single helpful video explaining this. If you’re not super tech-savvy or handy, this part can make you feel like the car is defective when it’s really just the battery connection. Please update the manual with clearer instructions and pictures for this step because it is VERY important. ... show more
