The only downside was that a piece of the steering wheel was missing from the box. However, I reached out to the manufacturer and they did send the replacement part. Hands down this is the best Christmas gift I've ever bought for my daughter. With the black color, the car looks incredibly sleek and premium in person. Actually it's much more high-end than I expected. I also have to comment on the battery life, which is excellent. We drove it from our house to the park several blocks away and then all the way back without any issues, and it still had plenty of power left. The motor is hefty and performs really well on both uphill and downhill terrain. Strong and steady wins the race, for fun and for safety. Even though my one-year-old can't use the foot pedal yet, the built-in safety belt gives us peace of mind, and the parental remote control is very easy to use. In particular, the speed control is just right—not too fast, not too slow. When going downhill, I never worried about it racing out of control. The car stops smoothly and quickly. It can also maneuver well, and when you need to pick it up to get over a curb, it's surprisingly lightweight. I honestly didn't expect a toy car to be made with this level of detail! All the lights look very realistic. Totally successful purchase and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended for parents looking for a safe, well-designed ride-on car for their little one.
