I have a very, very happy 3 year old. This truck has so many cool features, even adults are impressed. Let's start with the awesome fun accessories: It has working lights, music, cb radio, dumping bed with lever, honking horn, and detachable shovel. All these things are fun to play with and that's before the car even starts moving. Once you get the little one seat belted in (safety first) , there are 2 driving options. As with most ride on battery operated cars, the kids can press the gas pedal and steer, moving the truck themselves and reaching top speeds of 2.5 miles per hour. However, if you don't feel safe letting your little one taking the wheel just yet, there is also an included remote control. The remote control allows the adult to both assist with driving or take over all of the truck's operations. But the best part is if you take over all control, the steering wheel and pedal still move so the kids still think that they are in the driver's seat, so to speak. Everything regarding the truck experience, appearance, and function was a hit with kids and adults alike. Oh, and it arrived fully charged, but not fully assembled.... So now we're to the not so fun part, which was the assembly. It retrospect, it wasn't too bad but while I was in the moment, it felt overwhelming and frustrating. In all fairness, I have never assembled a battery powered ride on vehicle before or even a smaller remote controlled car so part of the problem could have been my lack of expertise. Step 15 was tough. I wish I could give a hint or trick on how to make it go smoother but somehow, after fighting to get the rods in, they just clicked. Maybe it was magic because it wasn't like I did anything different from the last 28 attempts. Even with all that hassle, I am still giving the product a 5 star rating. They did include clearish instructions and the truck did get built and my kid is ecstatic.

Overall, I've been very happy with this ride on. It is really easy to assemble. There are no stickers to apply which I really appreciated. I was able to assemble alone within thirty minutes. This particular ride on has the remote so it can be controlled if the driver/rider isn't capable. This is a really nice feature because as a parent, it really gives some piece of mind when my kid is using this. The truck plays music and features a mic than can be used like a megaphone. The little dump bed actually works. It will dump light loads no problem. The truck also comes with a little shovel. It is just okay quality. A more sturdy one would have been better. The truck has working headlights as well. It looks really good when assembled. The truck is 12V, so not too fast, but it should definitely get age appropriate riders a little bit of a thrill. The battery life and charge time is average, so I was satisfied at that. If you own or use any equipment like this and/or your kid(s) have an interest in construction vehicles, this would be a thrilling gift. Overall, I'm really pleased with this ride on.

The media could not be loaded. This caterpillar dump truck is really awesome . It will be a christmas present for a toddler and we are sure, he will be absolutely in love. It`s well made and has those little gadgets , with lights, sounds . So really neat . Really love it .
