This little car is such a cute ride for the kids! It says right on it though that it’s a dodge, so just as in real life you will have front end troubled… Assembly was straight forward, but there was a lot to piece together. Nearly every piece of the car has to be assembled (hood, wheels, steering, mirrors, seats, steering, and some electrical). In all with a drill it took about 45 minutes. You will need a crescent wrench and a short Phillips screw driver (#2). They have some plastic tools for the larger nuts, but the steering linkage has a small nut that is too small for those tools. The whole car is pretty standard quality when it comes to plastics. The metal front end support/suspension linkage though is paper thin and will bend even at a small collision with a step or speed bump. Our kids hit a 3” concrete pad and it bent the whole thing. Luckily I had some tools and can tack weld it, but I was surprised that little bump would do so much and cause the wheel to rub the body… The remote control works very well and it has a good range. There is a setting in the car that you can toggle for you to have sole control, but unfortunately it is a button so the kids can over ride you if they want… The battery did surprisingly well! Even with two toddlers and the 105 deg day it lasted for hours. The charging is really long 8-10 hours, but if you hook it up at night it’s all ready to go by morning.

This thing is AWESOME! I debated for a while to buy it. But finally decided to, and I'm glad I did! Its sleek, and the detail is really good!! 3 speeds, Putting it together, I thought was kinda fun, But I'm a mechanic by trade. One thing I would like is if the range from remote to the car was a little further. But I guess technically you should be walking around with them anyway! VERY COOL AND STURDY!

I got this 1970 Dodge Charger ride-on car as a gift for my nephew’s 4th birthday, and it was a huge hit! He was so excited when he saw it and absolutely loves cruising around in his “car.” The design looks awesome and really captures the classic Dodge Charger style, making it feel like a mini version of the real thing. The two-seat design is great because he can ride with a sibling or friend, and I love that it comes with a parent remote control for extra safety and control when needed. This is a really cool ride on car once it's assembled, but I ran into more issues than I expected for the price. The instructions were very basic, none of the parts were labeled, and some assembly steps didn't clearly show the correct orientation. Some hardware was preinstalled while the rest came mixed in bags, making assembly take much longer than necessary. The atomizer that mounts to the hood arrived broken, and I had to temporarily secure it myself. The seat belts also don't fit well, as the shoulder straps tend to slide off, and one corner of the windshield keeps popping loose during normal use. Despite those issues, the car itself is a lot of fun. It handles different terrain well, has three speed settings that can be controlled from either the car or the remote, and the battery life is excellent. The opening doors, classic styling, lights, music, and smoke effect make it a very exciting ride for kids. Overall, it has excellent features, but the quality control and assembly experience kept it from living up to its premium price.

This car has no business being this cool. TLDR: it's awesome and you should get it. It ships in a decent-sized box with all the components wrapped/bagged separately. You do have to assemble it, but it's pretty basic stuff. One heads-up: instead of a parts bag with screws, they thread the screws into the components themselves, so be mindful of that. Also be careful with the big bag the chassis comes in, don't toss it until you're done. We had a loose bolt fall out into the bag (thankfully I found it!). We also had a broken screw mount for the passenger seat. Not a deal breaker, can probably be super glued back on, and the seat still feels secure. The details are awesome: chrome/plastic accents, the charger tucked under the gas cap, a working "radio," and a hood mist effect that's too cool. Not sure who was more excited, my kids or my husband. The remote works well and gives you 3 speeds vs. the 2 on the car's radio controls. Speed 1 is a calm walking pace, speed 2 (the sweet spot) is a brisk walk, and speed 3 is jog quick. The remote gets a bit finicky if you wander too far from the car, but I like staying within 5 to 15 feet anyway for safety. Our 4 year old "drives" and our 15 month old rides shotgun. They LOVE this thing. We got stopped twice on day one by people commenting on how cool it looks. The ride is smooth too; the tires (while plastic) have a rubberized center groove that quiets and smooths things out. This thing rocks!
