They are nice for what I need. The material doesn’t feel like a good grade glass, they are kind of like glass/plastic type, i don’t know how to describe that. I didn’t realize i ordered 8 of each, definitely too many for two people.

    • The most fragile glass known to man

Welp, all but one of the tall glasses has broken. We are a family of two sure-handed and careful adults, and neither of us has broken their cell phone screen in our lifetimes. Somehow, I swear, the tall glasses just crack out of spite if you look at them funny. Ways they have broken: filling with water. Picking up and moving it from one table to another. Placing in the dishwasher. Taking out of the dishwasher. Two were whole when placed in the dishwasher, and were broken when it was next opened. The rocks glasses have held up fine, but I feel like Libbey was pranking us with whatever the tall glasses were made out of. They are kinda thinner glass, but certainly not so thin that they’d nearly all break with under a year of very very light use. ... show more
