I bought one of these and when it arrived I was a little disappointed with the built quality. It felt a tiny bit cheap and the fit does wobble a little bit. It basically comes as two separate plastic pieces that you have to clip together in order to make one massager. If the clipping mechanism were different, I think I would feel differently about the product. With that said, I’m able to massage myself quite well. I use it mainly to massage my shoulders, shoulder blades and lower back, and I’m able to do it pretty easily. I am a little concerned with the massager suddenly separating on me while I’m pressing hard, to be honest, but so far it hasn’t happened yet! The plastic does bend a tiny bit while I’m using it, but thankfully I don’t get the sensation as if it’s about to snap in half or anything. Overall, I’m not that excited with the built quality, but I am happy with the performance and that I’m able to massage my back. If you’re thinking about buying this, I don’t think you’ll be very disappointed but I do recommend you look at other comparable products that are not shipped as two separate pieces. I seem to get a kink in my upper back towards my right shoulder occasionally and it won't go away for days. I decided to try this after reading the reviews and I'm really happy with it. I can effortlessly get to the exact spot where the knot is located and massage it. I usually end up pressing the ball deep into the knot for about thirty seconds to "reset" the muscle. Wow, does that make a difference! I also have used the hook to help massage my neck when I have a headache. You can actually feel the muscles loosening up as you do it. Recently, I've been having problems with my knee which makes it painful to walk. I use this to help stretch my Achilles tendon and straighten my leg all the way out so I don't lose that much range of motion in my knee before my surgery. I just hook it under the ball of my foot and pull it back until I feel that nice stretch at the back of my heel. Then I lift my leg and try to straighten it at the knee. I was influenced by a TikTok! I never write reviews! I ordered the color that would get to me fastest, and I’ve just spent the last 10 minutes telling all my friends they need to buy one! I’m a quilter and I run my own business. That in turn means a lot of hunched over time either on a sewing machine or a computer. I also suffer from migraines - not headaches there is a difference! I truly believe just in the short period I have had this contraption, my life will be so much better. I have rubbed knots I didn’t even know I had! I hope the manufacturer would do a light wood in same design. For eco concerns..I think some would pay a bit more for a light wood version of this, I don’t like plastics stuff, but a bit desperate for relief. So, excellent design, and does provide relief. I love that I can maneuver to spot knots..A bit awkward to use for some, but not all of us is dexterous..you’ll find your way with this. Again..manufacturer, if you can do light weight wood in this lovely design, if feasible ..others will pay more. Do a niche manufacturer, and see how it goes as an aside..or hopefully someone will beat you to the chase with similar..ha! ... show more

I am so happy my physical therapist told me about this product. What a amazing tool to help with tight shoulders, neck and back pain. It’s kinda weird to get use to holding it. For me anyway, maybe cuz I’m left handed. It was also easy to put together. It only goes one way so you can’t screw it up. And once it’s in, it’s in. I highly recommend this item. Threw out muscles in my right lower back and hip. My doc recommended this product. Actually had one to show me. It took some work and was painful to use at first but if you use as soon as your back gets pissed off it prevents pulled muscles and weeks of excruciating pain.
