Assembly was a little challenging for me as I'm not that good with my hands generally and am not super strong. The box was delivered to my front door, but I wasn't able to bring the full box inside by myself. I opened it outside and brought all the pieces inside and up a flight of stairs one by one, and then put it together without help. If I can do it, I think anyone can! The hardest part was probably getting the top piece on, as it was heavy for me, and you have to line it up just right. I bet with a second person it would have been easier, but I was proud to do it all myself. I did not use any power tools, just the provided Allan wrench and my own phillips head screwdriver. I did have some questions during assembly, and the company was quick and helpful in answering me through Amazon. In case anyone else has the same issues, one concern I had was that when you go to attach the backing, there are predrilled holes for some of the screws, but not others. The answer is that you don't need to have predrilled holes for all the screws, you just line it up carefully so there are no gaps, and wait to tighten everything until you done. I thought I would mess it up, but it came out fine. I also had a little trouble with one of the doors, but I loosened the screws on the hinges, and then retightened them while putting pressure on the door to keep it where it needed to be. Now the door is perfectly aligned. The finished product is everything I'd hoped from the pictures, and more. It seems more spacious than I had expected. In fact, with the three shelves, I had room for my entire DVD and game collection, plus electronic equipment, and I still have some room left over. My TV is wall-mounted, so I also have room on the top to display family photos etc. While I don't have anything heavy on it, the unit feels really sturdy and I believe it could support a TV without trouble. The price is quite good too. I had been to some furniture stores without finding what I had in mind, and was considering something that would have had less storage and cost twice as much. Once you screw in the back pieces, the unit it stable. Prior to that, I was scared for my expensive TV. I followed the instructions when it came to screwing in the back pieces but a production issue must have caused a misalignment and I had some overlap between the middle top and bottom middle pieces. Nonetheless, it still holds strong. The European doors had me confused only because I had them on before I had the shelves installed and they kept swinging inside. I was scratching my head trying to figure out if I was missing pieces but I was not. The shelves are used to stop the doors from swinging in. The shelving was just enough to combine my previous setup of having a separate TV stand and media shelving unit. I was able to fit several collectors boxes, blu rays, my home theater receiver, and my Xbox series x. I was really concerned when doing my research that the series x would not have enough room to stay cool but it does just fine. Overall the color looks nice. The one thing to know is with these types of units made with the material chosen, they are subject to warping and chipping. I had a little of both. Fortunately the defects are not too noticeable as they are towards the back of the top shelve and to me it wasn't worth the effort to go through the process of returning the whole unit or getting replacement pieces that most likely would end up having similar or different defects. I did have a show stopping issue during assembly that caused a delay in me finishing the build. The screws used to stabilize the bottom of the unit were missing altogether! I'd say that's something extremely important to not include in the packaging. I contacted the seller about this and it took a few days to get the screws... I was sent an entire kit of all the pieces used to assemble the kit just for 8 or so missing screws. In conclusion, I'm happy with my purchase but was annoyed with the missing screws that caused a delay in using the unit. I'm not pleased with the defects but they are mostly out of sight unless someone looks really closely. ... show more

All the parts arrived undamaged. Box was extremely heavy could not have got it to my apartment alone. Tutorial video provided was great and made it easier to put together. Lots of little parts to assembly. You will need a screwdriver for majority of the work. It did take forever (2-3 hours) to assemble but, me and my bf are novice builders. ... show more
