LG v30 isn't the most advanced phone on the planet with the most specs, but if your looking for an upgrade, not trying to spend $500+,and want a phone that has 80% of what a 2019 flagship offers, this phone will make appreciate your purchase. Great bang for your buck

Ordered this not knowing what to think. My seller was Tech Venture. No idea what kind of condition the phone would come in and if it would actually arrive unlocked as noted in the listing. It's too soon to list any major negatives but I'll start with the positives 1. Phone arrived a day ahead of time. Seller is super quick about getting these things out. I was pleasantly surprised. Only issue with shipping was that the phone was loosely put in a white box with no padding which then itself was put loosely in a bigger standard cell box. When I picked the box up I could feel it sliding around in there. Luckily it arrived unscathed. I suggest the seller remove any movement within the boxes by padding both boxes with paper. 2. Phone arrived with a charger and usb c cable. The charger was a samsung charger but its still a pleasant surprise because I wasn't expecting anything else to be in the box. 3. Battery. This is what you want to know about right? Phone arrived with a full charge. Actually kind of amazed by this. Either someone took the time to charge it or this particular phone just holds charge extremely well when powered off. Either way nice. The verdict is still out on whether or not the phone will have like new battery life. It is a 2 year old phone after all. So far Ive done some light internet browsing, ran a speedtest, installed a few apps and kept the brightness to about 20%. According to AccuBattery it went from 97% to 79% with 1.5 hrs of screen on time. This included wifi and bluetooth on, installing a few apps, running a speedtest and about 30 minutes of light internet browsing as well as menu diving. When I turned the screen off and went to bed the phone went into deep sleep and I lost maybe 1% of battery life. According to my calculation I'll get between 4-5 hours of screen on time with no videos running at 20% brightness and about 17-19 hours of standby time if not more. For a phone that is two years old I think that is fair if not very good. 4. physical condition. The phone arrived in pretty darn clean condition. There are a few very light surface scratches on the screen nothing that you wouldn't see on a new screen after a week of use. Hard to see unless at the right angle and completely invisible with screen brightness above 25%. No dents and it doesn't look it has ever been cracked open to replace the battery. 5. This is a legit V30. The real deal not a knock off. It's cheap because it's 2 years old and probably purchased in bulk from outlet stores trying to offload old stock. Still the specs for the price are awesome. 6. Performance. The V30 provides great performance so far only hindered by T Mobiles stupid animations. I don't play games like PubG or otherwise so I can't comment on that. I did an LTE test at night around 9pm in the city and got around 90Mbps down and 30Mbps up. The great modem performance is probably thanks to the Qaulcomm 835 platform which is a flagship platform. The speed results are amazing. Im on Mint Mobile and it's a TMob reseller and works perfectly even WiFi Calling. I hope this review helps anyone considering purchasing from this company. I would buy from Tech Ventures again if need be. I will update review again in a months time to let everyone know about battery life for those still shopping for V30s in 2020

I use AT&T as my carrier. The phone that I received was a 'refurbished' T-Mobile phone. But all systems except one work and work well. The tech at AT&T that got the phone up and running for me on the AT&T net said that he thought the 'data' downloads were a bit slow on the cell function. But I have found that data from cell towers is as good if not better than my old AT&T phone. The one function that doesn't work is the WiFi Calling function. I think it has something to do with the chip AT&T added not being T-Mobile compatible. This function is something I have never used so is no big deal for me. The phone came well packed but only with the 'factory' supplied charger and one cord. No instructions or pamphlets. I would buy it again and for the price is a great way to upgrade/replace your phone.

When buying renewed sometimes they send you a lemon, a lemon that would be acceptable to people in a hurry or a phone for a child, but I use the screen to read schematic and it is obnoxious to wonder if you are staring at the right symbol because there is a giant scratch or a burn in, and they forgot to clean this one, it has dirt in the charging port. Please Note! These people do sometimes send you very well vetted phones, my first buy was perfect, only one scratch on the screen and I could live with that as it did not affect my ability to read diagrams. It is a very good phone. It is smaller than most flagship phones LG software is definitely not perfect and could use some more developer time but these rellers have nothing to do with that. Bottom line, its a 50 / 50 chance you get a lemon so far. As I said my first phone was acceptable use, this one slipped through the QC.

Phone worked awesome. Display is beautiful. Unfortunately, this phone doesn't work on the CDMA network (Verizon, Sprint and Total Wireless) so I had to return it. Customer Service was excellent though. They responded promptly, gave clear information and resolved the issue without fuss.

The phone said it was unlocked, however, it was locked to T-MOBILE and couldn't be unlocked unfortunately resulting in a return, do not keep IF it is locked

The phone arrived well ahead of the scheduled date, which was nice. However, the description said that included with the phone was a Headset Handsfree LE530 Quadbeat which I did not get. Also, in order to get 4G internet on the phone, I had to go to my cell phone provider in person and have them unlock the ability. Unfortunately, I had left for the weekend and was setting up my phone out of town when I discovered this, so I had to wait 2 days before I could get internet access on my phone. I also noticed that occasionally, the camera will not take a picture when I depress the shutter "button" on the screen in landscape mode, and I have to use my volume buttons instead. This issue is intermittent. All in all, for the price, the phone is still worth it, but I have my disappointments.
