  • A balanced gaming/work monitor.
Style: New version
Monitor is good, software is relatively fast, took about 3 minutes to set it up when first connected... Exceptionally well constructed, the base stand is quality metal, sturdy, well painted feels good to the touch and monitor has a nice light on the back that can be turned off. Balanced in terms of gaming/work. I do programming mostly and text is clear, sharp, bright and easy to read, while gaming is great, and i am very thankful that is matte... can work on the day with no issue, very little reflections. The sound is acceptable enough to the point i removed my external speakers and rely only on the monitor sound. One VERY important thing. Like any other 4k 144hz+ monitor, you really need a video card that can handle that..... otherwise you will get limited hz or dull colors due to bandwidth issues. Overall i rate this 9/10. ... show more

  • Exceptional 4K Gaming Monitor – Smooth Performance and Stunning Visuals
Style: Old version
I recently upgraded to the LG UltraGear 32GQ750-B, and it has completely transformed my gaming and productivity experience. The 32-inch 4K UHD display delivers crisp and vibrant visuals, making every detail pop. With a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, gameplay is incredibly smooth, and I haven't experienced any screen tearing, thanks to AMD FreeSync Premium support. The monitor's HDR10 capability enhances the color depth and contrast, providing a more immersive viewing experience. The ergonomic stand allows for easy adjustments, ensuring comfortable viewing angles during extended sessions. Additionally, the built-in speakers are surprisingly decent, eliminating the need for external audio devices for casual use. Setup was straightforward, and the variety of ports, including HDMI and DisplayPort, offers flexibility for connecting multiple devices. Whether you're a hardcore gamer or someone who appreciates high-quality visuals for work and entertainment, this monitor is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Okay as the cheapest 4K 144hz monitor
Style: Old version
I’ll give it 3 stars because it’s a decent quality monitor but it sits right next to a 27” 1440p 60hz monitor (Alienware AW2724DM on the left) whose colors are more vibrant and blacks much deeper. It replaced a 1440P 60hz LG (don’t remember the model) and I’m hard pressed to notice a difference other than the higher resolution. You can’t see as well in the pictures but the red neon lines are sharper on the left than on the middle. Perhaps this assessment is also colored by the fact I set my laptop next to it to initially test its function and my laptop has a 4K OLED display that looked incredibly more clear and crisp. I’ve played with the color settings a bit but overall I can’t seem to fully dispel the washed out look it has. Minus 2 stars because while I don’t want to spend what it will cost to get something that looks better this is not worth the $575 I paid for it and certainly not the higher price others paid when it was as new model. EDIT: changing to 4 stars-this monitor is mainly used for office work but I occasionally watch Netflix, etc on it and the first time watching a show the increase in video quality is immediately noticeable over the monitor it replaced and the Alienware next to it. ... show more

  • Mid VA panel, buyer beware
Style: Old version
If you're looking for a decent VA panel, this is a good monitor. However, i take massive issue with the misleading advertisement speak in the listing, and i quote: "LG's UltraGear IPS Display features vibrant color, contrast, clarity and detail, while delivering ultra-fast 1ms (GtG) response rates." I bought two of these monitors expecting IPS, and was disappointed to get VA. This is deceptive and i will not be buying from LG again. ... show more

  • Gorgeous
Style: New version
These monitors are flipping AMAZING! Never had 144Hz refresh and I couldn’t believe the difference. The different display modes offer great variation as these somm-ma-ma’s are brighter than a solar flare

  • Not great
Style: Old version
I had a BENQ on order, and it never showed up. So I bought this monitor. Not even close to the picture quality of the BENQ!

  • Seems like a good features in quality for the price
Style: Old version
First off, I don’t do a ton of gaming so this review is kind of going to come from a weird spot, but it might help some of you. First off after doing a little testing the refresh rate, and everything seems to do what it is stated it will do. I do know there are some issues with certain issues a very high frame rates, but I have not noticed any of these. But like I said, I’m not a competitive gamer. The brightness on this unit is very good, especially once you enable HDR. I’ll hook this monitor up, set it up on my new Windows laptop and as soon as I went into the settings in Windows and enabled HDR the screen really came to life and became ultra crisp and beautiful. I am visually impaired, so a clear monitor that has good brightness is extremely important to me. I have found that a lot of the gaming hardware actually can work well for people in my situation. The brightness is great having the 4K resolution especially when I’m using Magnifier makes things so much more crisp and clear easy to read, and makes navigating my online world so much easier and more comfortable on my eyes I did not have to do much set up on the monitor other than change the brightness slightly and do a little bit of adjustment to the contrast and shortness. Other than that I am running it pretty much stock. The ports on the monitor are great. The stand is decent. However, I am running it on a monitor arm and I think that is the way to do it. However, if using the stand, it is nice. It is easy to detach if you want to use a wall mount or a arm. The PowerBrick is a little large, but not overly large. And the cables are a good length. Everything is set up on the back in a good place making it look very clean especially when installed on a monitor arm. I also like the single button adjustment system. Once you get used to navigating the menus it is very easy to make any changes that are needed or switch between different game modes. ... show more
