    • Great looking protective case but not the best grip

As much as I did not want to put a case on the G4 because it is a great looking phone I decided to err on the side of protecting the investment. That said I went with this case because it was available in white and I have the white version of the phone so it would still look good with the white back buttons showing. Overall I have no issues with the protection abilities of the case. It's more than I really needed actually. It does add significant bulk to the phone compared to some of the slimmer options out there but that's just what you get when you get a dual layer case. It isn't too bad, still fits in most pockets and such. Also the outer plastic layer is less grippy than I thought it would be. Those two things are the only reason I am rating it 4 stars. If it was a touch slimmer and a little more grippy it would be 5 stars easy. Definitely a great case though if you want high protection and don't mind the size. ... show more

Case was delivered scratched, but Amazon made good on the product. It protects well, but since it is a hard case is slides. My original Incipio product for an LG3 was more like rubber and I greatly enjoyed it. This case not quite as much has a few draw backs.

You buy a case for two reasons, one is to protect your phone, the second is to provide more grip on your phone so you don't drop it. If you were trying to find a case that was as slippery as possible, a case designed and engineered so you would absolutely & positively let it drop out of your hand, this is the case for you.     • Excellent protection and looks, though a bit slippery and thick.
As for protection and looks, it's a terrific case. The cutouts are large and perfect, and it fits very tightly. My only complaints are that the shiny surface is a bit slippery, and the case is also slightly thicker than I thought it would be, making the phone slightly larger than I had hoped.

This is not the "Shine" version, but the standard DualPro. It's a 5-star product, but not what was advertised. No aluminum finish.
