The original box was in good condition, it looked like a typical return. Monitor only had 3 hours total screen time, no dead pixels, so basically new. Was missing a cable, but the seller shipped it out immediately. Note: If using as PC monitor, don't use HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color option in the menus. It makes font looks blurry and causes weird behaviors with the backlight. DisplayPort has significantly better picture quality, like night and day. When it arrived, I thought it was new. It was in an original LG box with Styrofoam and plastic packaging just like a brand new monitor. It was clean and new seeming in every way. The only thing missing was an owner's manual. When I plugged it in, I found a beautiful UHD image. I am very satisfied.

    • Good, but narrow view.
Picture quality is good, but the view angle is narrow, both vertically and horizontally. You basically have to be right in front of it. I do like the tilt/height adjustments.

Decent monitor for the lower refurbished price. The screen looks washed and unacceptable with default settings, so I understand why it was initially returned. You'll need to do adjustments to get the blacks dark and reduce the washed out look of everything else. I wouldn't want it as my primary monitor for software development, but it is acceptable for a second monitor at the reduced cost. ... show more

Using with a MacBook Pro as a 2nd screen for work. I can have ALL the windows open and the picture is really great. The tilt and height adjustments are great.
