Like many others who are now working from home, I wanted to get away from having separate spaces for work and home computing. I wanted to easily switch between work and home using 2 32 inch monitors. I was willing to pay high end prices for one of the monitors for gaming, but the second one wasn't as important to me. I wanted both monitors to be QHD. My home PC is a new gaming system running an RTX 3070. The work PC is a HP Elitebook laptop. For the gaming monitor I purchased the LG 32GK65B-B VA panel with 144hz and Freesync for $399. For the second monitor I purchased the LG 32QN600-B IPS panel with 75hz HDR10 and Freesync for $209 on Amazon's Black Friday sale. Both monitors were a breeze to mount on an adjustable mount. Took less than 2 minutes each to install. With the power off, both monitors look exactly the same from the front. I can put them touching each other and you can't tell they're not exact the same panel. The backs of them look different but that wasn't an issue. Both monitors set up instantly via display port on my gaming computer. It took a few moments fiddling with the menu to get Freesync rolling but the menu controls are fast and intuitive and before long the gaming monitor was at 144hz and the secondary was at 75hz. The primary VA panel 32GK65B-B struggled with my work laptop through HDMI. The screen would completely flash off every 2 seconds, even at the windows login screen. The secondary IPS panel 32QN600-B immediately functioned correctly on my work computer without any problems. After tinkering around for a few minutes I found that the gaming monitor was trying to push 75hz, and the secondary was pushing 60hz. Since I don't need a higher refresh rate on the work computer I went into the Windows 10 display settings and locked the refresh rate to 60 and that solved the problem instantly. I flipped back and forth between displays a few times and was pleased that all the settings and window locations stayed the same without any issues. With initial setup complete I started actually using the computers and everything seemed great, but before too long I noticed that the gaming monitor didn't look as nice as the cheaper monitor. I eventually realized that I was sitting too close. The cheaper IPS panel has a pretty excellent viewing angle so 2.5 feet from the monitor looked fine. The more expensive VA panel lost a lot of color around the edges if I was too close to it. After some testing, basically the VA monitor looks terrible compared to the IPS if you're too close to it. As long as you're about 3.5 feet away or more they look the same. After moving them back a bit I realized that I had no reason to sit that close to begin with since they're gigantic. In summary, both monitors look and work great. The quality of the cheap IPS panel is pretty impressive. If you don't care about refresh rate above 75hz you'd be extremely pleased with a pair of those, otherwise if you want the 144hz refresh than the VA panel is a competitive price and functions very well. If you'd be watching it from an angle for some reason, or having others crowd around you, you probably want to find something with a better viewing angle, but I think most gamers tend to sit in front of their monitor. I'm not sure if I'll ever notice the lack of HDR on the gaming monitor, but so far games look fantastic without it. I'll update this in a few months but for now I'm giving both 5 stars.

This is my 5th LG monitor over the years, after several days of running various programs and shows through it, the vibrant colors and clarity over my previous 1080p is night and day difference. The 1080 was also 32", but overall this monitor's footprint is comparatively much smaller since its frame is so small. This would make a 2 panel setup quite attractive, provided you prefer flat screens like I do. The settings out of the box were spot on, but I tinkered with them a little to get where I wanted them to be and I have to say, the HDR looks amazing. Text is exceptionally crisp even using smaller font sizes and the 1440 resolution is wonderful. Most of the settings I was able to enable through windows. However if you want to enable the Freesynch you will have to play with the hatswitch on the bottom center, it's a bit finicky, but if you play with it a bit you can figure it out. As for the stand. Most negative reviews speak of how flimsy the stand is and I have to say, personally that isn't my experience. Tightening the bolt so that the legs are firmly attached to the post was all I had to do, and once put in place, I don't move my monitors. That said, you *can* put this on a VESA mount, just make sure it can handle the weight of it's 20lbs weight.

I thought I'd wait at least a year to give this thing a fair review, and it's been over a year now as my daily monitor. Beautiful colors and contrast, viewing angle has blown away all of my past monitors. The resolution might ward off some being a 1440p monitor at 32", but I think it looks crisp and perfect in terms of scaling. The multidirectional button on the bottom of the screen seemed a bit jarring at first, but I quickly got used to it and it's a lot better than fiddling around with buttons and pressing the wrong one by accident. OSD shows you which direction to push, you go in that direction, simple as that. No built-in speakers, which, honestly, you don't want built-in speakers. One issue I've had with monitors in the past is it getting slightly crooked down to a shoddily-designed stand. This one seems to stay straight at all times, although not height adjustable, you could easily get an aftermarket stand if this is what you're after. The display itself is flawless of course. Heavily recommend.

I am not a gamer, I wanted a bigger monitor so I could have various terminals and browsers open on one screen. I also wanted higher resolution as I do watch a lot of media on my computer. I use this with an HDMI KVM switch, for two towers (insert LOTR joke), one running AlmaLinux, one running FreeBSD. The monitor picked up both of them with no problem and the Nvidia driver on both machines got the right resolution. Videos are much nicer to watch, not only because of the extra screen room, but the quality. I can now read some websites that I had to change to dark mode to read with my old monitor. I use the computers's sound with speakers, but did test this monitor's sound with a laptop and it works well. There's a second HDMI port, you can plug in a second HDMI cable, and choose with one to use. (You have to use the monitor's switch, there isn't a hot key). My main complaint is the power adapter. Rather than a brick in the middle, and use a standard NEMA-5-15-P, they chose to make it larger. Therefore, in a power outlet or on a power strip, one either needs an adapater or to leave an empty outlet next to the monitor's power cord. I get more aggravated by this than I should, but it does seem that it shouidn't be a difficult decision or difficult to design. Aside from that, though I can't attest to its attributes as a gaming monitor, it's a very, very nice monitor for its price point. I would definitely recommend it to someone who doesn't need it for gaming. To be honest, i don't know that it's bad for gaming, just that a gamer friend looked and said, It should be fine for you, you don't game. The monitor also includes an HDMI cable and a Display port cable. I didn't measure them but they seem to be 4-5' length.

I use Logic for music recording and I needed more screen space for all the windows I need open. This thing is perfect for that. I have a 2012 MacBook Pro and the highest resolution it will do is what this monitor likes. Without a Mini display port to Regular display port cord 1080 was the best it would do (which did look pretty good using an mini display to cdmi adaptor) but once I got a Mini display port to Regular display port cord ($10) I got the high resolution and it is great. ( I had to reboot to get it to work but now its great!). Beautiful screen, looks amazing with movies and photos. Not 4k but the best I can do with this computer. Plus it comes with software to divide your screen into multiple small screens which is very easy to use and works great. Perfect for Logic. It's also crazy cheap for what you get. I recommend.

I bought this to extend the display of my laptop for my work from home setup. I use this mostly for documents and spreadsheets. The resolution is sharp... no pixelation. The display is super bright. And of course, at 32" it is a generous size compared to my 14" laptop display. All this for about $250. I could not find anything near these specs even close to this price. Assembly was super easy. The stand snaps in. The display was heavier than I expected and a little difficult to position on on my desk once I set it down. I am kind of afraid to try to hang it off a monitor arm as it sits several inches lower than I would like for my standing desk use. I have a minor complaint but not because of the monitor per se. I have a small desk (standup) and this monitor takes up nearly the entire width of my desk. I thought the screen split software would allow me to share just one screen section of the display for those frequent virtual meetings. It turns out my virtual meeting application isn't that "smart". So I reluctantly decided to replace this monitor with 2-24" FHD monitors on arms. However, once I plugged in the FHD monitors I realized my eyes are so spoiled for this QHD resolution, back went the 24" monitors. This LG monitor is a keeper.

After deciding to upgrade from the HP 24" 1080p monitor that is popular here on Amazon, I found an issue where anything better was much, much more expensive. Whether it was 4k or ultrawide, a decent one was triple the cost of the HP monitor minimum. So I decided a 32" 1440p monitor would do, because it would be the same pixel density as a 1080p 24" and I wouldn't need to use scaling (yuck). I tried some Acer refurbs but they always had dead pixels, sometime several in one spot. I was lucky enough to see this on Cyber Monday new for $210, and snatched it up immediately. The design is great. love the thin bezels on 3 sides. Bezels aren't a big deal to me, but if given the choice, thinner is better, so I'll take it. The screen came with NO DEAD PIXELS! 0. Maybe yours will but it is good to know 0 is even a possibility, unlike some *cough Sceptre cough* brands. The abundance of digital inputs was great too. The joystick is the best control I have used on a monitor. The only downside is the default quick settings can't be changed, it would be nice to have volume there. The options include 6-color adjust. I can't speak for the stand because this went straight onto a VESA mount, which worked fine. As for the screen itself, it is gorgeous. This is my first time using HDR, and I'm not sure how or why but I do notice better dark/light clarity in mixed images, at first glance. I tried a 1440p video of Tokyo at night, with the black sky and bright city lights,, and my roommates commented on how nice it looked on the monitor. 3/3 people in this apartment would recommend!
