Pros: - Nice big, clean screen with minimal border - Controls are relatively easy to use - Thunderbolt port to drive display and charge laptop in one cable - Daisy chaining with an older monitor worked with little effort using a thunderbolt-to-HDMI converter Cons: - Stand is wobbly and feels cheap - Noticeable banding in the screen. Either vertical or horizontal at times. It's not *always* noticeable, but sometimes you do see it and think, "this feels cheaper than the $1,000 I paid for it." - I work next to a window which can be bright, and at times the monitor's brightness can only just get bright enough for comfort - Colors are good but do not blow me out of the water - Since the stand is not flat at the bottom, you can't really place a monitor on it, beneath the screen. This is a little bit of an inconvenience if that's what you're used to doing. Wishes for future version: - OLED for deeper blacks, stronger contrast, lower power - 5k 34" version (at 16:9 aspect ratio, not 21:9 that they currently offer) Verdict: Overall I'm pleased with the purchase. This monitor is a great deal. I considered purchased the newest BenQ offering but was not as impressed as I was with this monitor. Watching starfield videos side by side with my oled screen on the laptop showed that this monitor is very capable dealing with localized contrast. It is the same panel as the UL950, this one has less warranty as a business offering. This monitor can also replace a thunderbolt3/usbc hub. There are two Type-A 3.1 ports and a Type-C 3.1 port to daisy chain the second monitor, but it will also serve as a third port if this monitor is used by itself, as in my case. Pros: Cheaper than UL consumer offering, sharp picture, wonderful contrast especially with photos, super bright, can replace usb hub if you have three or less peripherals to connect, decent sound with some bass. Oh, and the ability to charge your laptop, unless you have an HP Omen which just does not allow charging through the thunderbolt port for no discernible reason (We don't care if it charges slow or dies slower, just let us charge HP!). Cons: Controlling settings through the joystick are hard to get used to at first. I wish settings could be software controlled. Has potential to not be "square". The rotation stop mechanism doesn't leave monitor perfectly square in landscape or portrait so you have to eyeball it. Not much of an issue, just something I noticed. All around, I love this thing. Even for gaming it is a decent monitor. Only 60hz but that is plenty for my to play COD Warzone non-competitively. ... show more

    • Very Satisfied with Picture Quality
This monitor is installed as part of a two monitor display connected to a new M1 Mac Mini. This one is connected by Thunderbolt. The picture quality is excellent and makes my other 27" 4K LG display connected with it pale in comparison. There are currently some issues with the M1 Mini working with two monitors and I hope Apple sorts them out soon but the monitor itself is a welcome addition to my desktop. ... show more

    • Do not recommend for a MacBook Pro
This monitor has a great display but has quite a bit of lag is you are using A bluetooth Mouse. It also does not charge your MacBook when the MacBook is doing heavy work . Not recommended. I returned.

Bought two of these for an imac pro. The screens remain black when hooked up. They just don't work Customer service is completely clueless Not even certain what a monitor is!
