  • Great product for the price
Size: 29-inch Style: 100 Hz
I needed an extra monitor for relatives to use while visiting and working remotely. That meant ultra wide, good quality, and relatively inexpensive as it'll only be used a few months a year. I use a much higher end LG for my daily work and occasional gaming, and like the brand, so it's the first manufacturer I looked for. After comparing a half dozen models I chose this one. This monitor meets all those requirements and more. It's nicely designed and functional, and very inexpensive relative to other options of equivalent quality. The only downside is that it doesn't adjust up and down, it only tilts, but adding a monitor stand resolves that problem while making a more space-efficient solution. The refresh rate is not good enough for high-end gaming or entertainment, but as a work-from-home setup for office productivity it's perfect. All-in-all I'm glad I got it. ... show more

  • It has worked flawlessly for 9 months. Works well for research on multiple sites at once
Size: 29-inch Style: 75 Hz
It is of good quality. The picture is bright, the colors are true. I use it mainly for family history research, and I love the width which allows me to research from two sites and go back and forth. I have no difficulty reading words and ancient handwriting, it has good resolution. I have not used it for gaming, so I can't report about that. I use the stand that came with it and it holds it well and at a straight angle. ... show more

  • Good monitor with wide screen
Size: 29-inch Style: 75 Hz
This monitor is huge and wide enough for multi-task jobs. For me the resolution is good enough, try this.

  • Solid BUDGET Ultrawide
Size: 29-inch Style: 100 Hz
I do a fair bit of video and audio editing, and was finding my elderly mid-2012 MacBook Pro’s (non-retina) display a bit lacking in real estate, and wanted something that would give me a good linear timeline view for editing work. I picked this monitor up because it was on sale — under $100 at the time (!!) — and was made by LG, who I have come to trust regarding screen-related things. I am not disappointed in this monitor, but I also knew what I wanted and wasn’t expecting more than I got, which is what seems to be going on in a lot of negative reviews. This is not a 4K OLED screen: it’s a 1080p, IPS monitor. Being IPS, it suffers from the light bleed and contrast issues that all IPS monitors have. That’s fine. It’s not 4K or even 2K… it’s a 1080p screen and, with HDMI, I can get 2560x1080 at 75 or 100Hz, whereas I’m limited to 60Hz over DisplayPort, (probably a limitation of my old MacBook’s use of DisplayPort 1.1). Also, if your computer's using an older version of DisplayPort, you need to manually select which version you’re using in the monitor’s on-screen menu, otherwise it’ll just tell you there’s no input detected. Mine’s also got a dead pixel that showed up about three months after I bought it, but I can’t rule out that it wasn't caused by me, and it’s just one pixel so it’s not particularly noticeable. The built-in speakers are actually pretty good, too! I normally use a Bose speaker system, but when I hooked this up my audio defaulted to the monitor’s speakers and, for a couple of hours, I didn’t even notice the difference. It has surprisingly good sound! It comes with a stand, but I didn’t bother with that; I have a dual-monitor VESA desk mount and used that instead (the monitor doesn’t come with mounting hardware but VESA-compatible screws usually come with the mounts and, if they don’t, are easily found). So, yeah… it does well for what I use it for, which is work, remote meetings, and some gaming. No Man’s Sky and Flight Simulator look amazing in 21:9 — especially with “HDR Effect” turned on — and having two web browsers or Word documents open side-by-side feels un-cramped, versus on a regular 16:9 screen where neither can be entirely “full-size”. It’s a solid, usable, *BUDGET* UltraWide and as long as you keep that in mind, I’d recommend it. If you’re looking for a high-performance screen with immaculate color reproduction, er… keep looking. Oh yeah… please forgive the absolute disaster of a desk I have in the included image. ... show more

  • Great work monitor!
Size: 29-inch Style: 100 Hz
Great ultra wide monitor for the price. The assembly and setup process is very simple and take no longer than a few minutes. This is more of a work monitor rather than a gaming monitor especially since most other monitors are well above 60hz in refresh rate at much better resolutions. But it works great for work. ... show more

  • Perfect For Anyone Working From Home That Uses Multiple Windows
Size: 29-inch Style: 75 Hz
I work from home, and use a 14" MacBook Pro. As mush as I love my MacBook, w/my job as an Insurance Broker, I use a lot of different windows, and my 14" screen wasn't cutting it. I could swipe across different desktops on my MacBook, but having this screen gave me pretty much 2 more screens. So instead of me swiping, I have 3 viewable screens (as seen in the attached picture) that helps me when I work. The only thing, which still isn't a deal breaker, is the stand. The stand is not adjustable. So I ended up spending about $25 for a stand that I can adjust the height, tilt, etc, and with that, this monitor is perfect! Quality of the picture is perfect as well. If you're needing something that has the best quality for Video or Photo editing, then maybe you should spend a little more on a higher end monitor with 4K or higher. But again, for use of work, this is perfect. I will say, I've watched movies via Netflix, and Youtube videos, and it looks great! I've also connected a PS5 to this monitor, and I have no complaints as well. If you use a Monitor Light bar, depending on the style of the mount, it can hang over the screen. But for myself, as a Mac user, there is a menu bar at top at all times, so it really doesn't hinder any of the screen. So if this is something of concern, I'd check the light bar you're looking into to see how it sits on a screen. Final verdict is if you're in the market for more screen real estate, but don't want to break the bank, I would definitely back this product, and say this is a perfect purchase. Hope this helps someone with their decision! ... show more
