The cushioning felt comfortable right out of the box, and the outsole looks like it would provide solid grip and durability on dirt and gravel. Unfortunately, the fit just did not match my foot. They felt tighter than expected and I could not get a comfortable, secure fit even after adjusting the laces. I ended up returning them, which was a bummer because everything else about them seemed promising. If these match your foot shape, I can see them being a great option. I did not add the durabily star yet, since are brand new.... so I hope remember to do it in a year or so. So far I like this shoes very much. I went to the New Balance store to fit the right size. then I order it on AMAZON knowing was teh perfect fit. After use tehm fell so confortable as walking shoes, Supposed for outdoors too, but for a long day walking the experience was fantastic. No sore feet, no pain in my legs, are light weight, no super light weight but good for long walks in the city. Color is really cool and price was great. I have been very satisfied with this shoe. It’s tough and lasts a good while. It’s not as comfortable as my New Balance 1080s, but it’s comfortable enough. I have put this thing through the ringer and haven’t had any problems or defects. I wear it all the time. I’ll definitely buy this shoe again.
