I bought these for my 4 kids to play around with. Out of the box they immediately started throwing, swinging, catching, laughing having a good time. My 2yo is happy to have the tail that helps her catch it, my 9yo is delighted to swing them around like a multi-colored mace.     • Not easy to throw, no structure
I bought this set for my toddler who loves to practice his throw, thinking these would be a safe option for indoor throwing. These comet balls are bright and colorful, which appealed to him right away. Unfortunately, they are almost impossible to throw. The soft "ball" portion of this is just soft batting surrounded by netting. They have no structure. They are too soft and light to throw with any accuracy, distance, or speed. Because they are so soft they are safe to use inside, but they just aren't all that fun. Without enough weight on the front you don't really get to see the rainbow tail move, which defeats the purpose of having it at all. I think the pictures are also a bit misleading. A dog would destroy this ball in seconds. Overall a bit disappointed. ... show more
