I have been on the lookout for a jean skirt that would fit comfortably, yet not look like it belongs on a 16-year-old, for at least a few months. This one is it! The cut is very form-fitting, starting with the waist. This skirt is sold by specific size, not merely S-M-L, which takes the guess work out of deciding your size. Be aware that the bottom (hem area) is narrower than the hips giving a super curvy look. Generally speaking, pencil skirts are a consistent width from the widest part of the hips, all the way down to the hem. The narrower bottom gives a subtly sexy vibe. There is a back slit that ensures that the garment doesn’t impede walking (so long as you’re not planning on running sprints in it!) Additionally, this is about the stretchiest denim I’ve ever encountered. The fabric is nice and soft, and those two things make for a very comfortable skirt that can be dressed up or down. To give a point of reference, I’m 118 pounds, 5’5”, and the size 2 is just right on the waist as well as close-fitting, but not stretched at all, around the hips. The cut definitely accentuates the booty. It may not be for everyone, but for me, the search for the perfect jeans skirt is officially over! The hem hits my leg about 2-3 inches below the knee. My husband wants me to take it up to the top of my knee, but the jury’s still out on that. I shot a few pictures, right out of the bag, to show a couple of different angles and leg positions. Jean skirts are a wardrobe work horse, and this one did not disappoint.

This is my favorite Casual Friday skirt to wear with a T-shirt or other top and comfy sandals...anything goes well with it! It's stretchy, but holds its shape well! The fabric is soft like well-worn jeans, and SO comfortable! It's slim-fitting, but stretches easily to get in and out of the car, etc. It washes up easily, no shrinking! Well-made skirt at a great price! Versatility at its best! FYI I'm 5'4" with an an average build and it hits just below my knees.

Ladies! If you're looking for a cute, modest denim skirt for a good price that doesn't look or feel like it came from Shein, this is it! I love these skirts so much! For reference, I am 5'6" and weigh 205lbs. My waist size is 38in and my hips are 47in. I purchased a size 16 plus. I am very happy with it in both fit and quality! I could've easily sized down and I know that because I was given a size 14 by a friend, and whenever I first put it on, it fits like a bodycon item, but stretches out to be slightly less form fitting during the day with a ton of wrinkles. To get a more average fit without having to wear it a few hours (and get less wrinkles) I sized up. It's still a flattering fit that accentuates my curves, but not quite as much. Based on their size chart, it's just right for my measurements, unlike other reviews saying to size up or down. I will say that just like with the size 14 one I owned previously, it has a good few inches of stretch and stretches out some with wearing! It still looks flattering though and the larger size made for far less wrinkles as it did, but does start to fall down as it stretches around my waist! Both sizes come down to just slightly below my knees. The quality excellent for the price and is just the same as a pair of jeans from somewhere like Walmart! It easily looks and feels like it would be a more expensive skirt! I would definitely buy more and plan to!!

I purchased this skirt because it looked super comfy and versatile, and I wasn’t disappointed in that regard. The stretch denim fabric is soft and fits really well, offering a comfortable, stretchy feel that moves with you. The length is perfect for everyday wear, and it has a flattering silhouette. However, the one thing that bothered me was the buttons. I started worrying that the buttons might cause the skirt to open in places I didn’t want it to, and as a plus-size gal, I didn't want to risk feeling self-conscious or exposed. It’s definitely a cute design, but the button placement made me hesitant to wear it out too often. Overall, it’s a solid skirt, but I’d say it's best for those who are comfortable with the button detail. I gave it three stars because of the comfort and style, but the button issue holds it back for me.

I was interested in this skirt because I liked the length and the fact that the slit in the back was not too high up the thigh. I agonized over the size chart because I was between size 6 and 8. At 5' 81/2" and 155 lbs., I usually wear a size 6 in jeans; however, I ordered this skirt in three different colors, each in a size 8. I'm glad I went up a size, even though (like other reviews warned) the waist is a little roomy--a problem easily remedied by wearing a belt. The hem hits me an inch or two above the knee, which is a nice, modest length without being frumpy or matronly. It is important to note that these are not a-line skirts. They are PENCIL skirts that will hug your hips and thighs. If you have a belly pooch, this skirt will NOT conceal it. In fact, the belly under-cupping will likely accentuate that pooch. The pockets are legitimate, although the two front ones are only finger-length deep--not deep enough to hold a cell phone securely; however, there is more room in the back pockets. The fabric does have a little elasticity woven into it so the skirt gives and is very comfortable to wear, but it is not a terribly thick or heavy cotton denim. In fact, if you purchase the white skirt you'll want to be sure to wear flesh-colored underwear, although the pockets on the skirt do offer a good amount of coverage. In short, the three skirts I bought will be my summer wardrobe staples. I'm glad that I took a chance that the size chart was somewhat accurate. Denim skirts this length aren't easy to find, and the price was very fair.
