If you don't mind looking silly bouncing around on your yard and if you're feet are size 12 or smaller, these should work pretty well for you. I'm a 12 and max out the velcro ankle strap. It should be a couple inches longer. If you have dirt spots in your lawn, expect it to cake on the bottoms of the shoes. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend these for gardens, just lawns. Overall, they work and work pretty well.

Bought these to aerate my lawn, it isn't a large lawn but I am very particular about keeping it in great condition. I live on the East Coast and we get very hot summers, in past years my lawn would look fantastic in April, May, June, but come July, it would dry out and brown. I did some research online and wanted to give the aerating a try. Received these shoes, they are a bit large (I wear a women's size 7) but they worked out well when I put on my rain boots. They do give you a great workout in your legs. All I had to do was put in the laces and that was all of the assembly that was required. The seller reached out to me to make sure I was happy with the product. That was very nice. I highly recommend these shoes. Hoping that aerating my lawn does the trick and keeps it green all summer long!!

I have used twice, and once you get used to them, it's fairly easy to walk around. Make sure you put them on in the grass, and lift your feet up when walking, or else you will just be scraping the grass. I used them after mowing and before I re-seed, or fertilize the lawn. Not sure if it has helped much? Does seem greener though. Last year I paid over $200 for aeration and over-seeding, so this is a less expensive option, and it's a good workout for me! Only thing is they are very large on me, and I wear a US woman's size 7. However, they do stay on if I tighten them up.

Contrary to the product description, it didn’t arrive with laces. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until well after the return period. I had some para cord on hand which works well. Otherwise the aerators work like they should. I have small feet but they still fit securely during use.

I"m trying to St Augustine to grow in the shade. I'm hoping by aireating water and oxygen can get into my clay based soil and help with spreading. The product worked as stated. Time is needed to see if it helps. The shoes are solid and easy to use.
