These shorts are perfect and comfortable. I’m 5,8, 144lbs, usually a size 28-29, I ended up ordering a 30 after reading all the comments saying to size up, instant regret. the shorts are a little loose on me but it was nothing a belt couldn’t fix. I didn’t have time to return it and order the right size before my trip. So if you want the “over size look” then yeah size up. Other than that 10/10 recommend.

I was looking for shorts in this style everywhere, but I am short and petite so most were too big or too wide or too long. These are perfect for people looking for the baggy shorts look without it being overwhelming. I usually wear a 25/26, but got a 27 (one size up) so they would be a little baggier. There’s really no stretch, but I like that because it makes them look more structured.

I like them I just wish they had some stretch on them , they do fit a little big on the waist but perfect on the hips so I think a smaller size will be to tight on me, I’m usually a size 28/29 on Levi’s jeans and I order a size 30 because I like my shorts to be a little loser.

These have NO STRETCH, so size up at least one or two sizes. Once I sized up twice (usually 27, ended up with 29)…I liked them. I haven’t worn them yet, but I think they will be great once broken in a little. The length is perfect and the color/style is cute. The tighter/no stretch fit shapes the behind nicely.

The iconic red levi's label on the back of these shorts is made out of some kind of paper with red stitching holding it on. Its not anything close to leather. I have not washed the shorts yet but I'm more than sure that the label will be destroyed once i do. other than that, thick material, and comfortable fit. but I do think these are a levi's knock off?

These jean shorts are the perfect rise and length for me which makes me feel comfortable. My thighs are pretty big so I always feel weird about them just spilling out with shorter shorts but these cover them. Makes my thigh less sweaty too. The rise while high, doesn’t super exaggerate my lower belly area the way some high rises tend to do. I think the sturdiness of the denim plus being reinforced with a button fly closure instead of zipper really helps to hold everything in. Love the look and thickness of the fabric. It is 100% cotton so there’s no stretch. It fits quite snug when I put it on but it does loosen up a bit later on. The only minor issue is that the band starts to fold over when I don’t wear it with a belt and it leaves a little bit of a gap. Other than that, it’s one of my favorite pairs of Levi’s and the only shorts I’ll wear for the summer! If I can find this exact pair in black, i’d be pretty happy **SIZING: I went by the measurement of my hips to choose the size on the chart. In some of the other Levi's jeans that have elastane in them, i'm a 31 or 32 because they more stretch, and as I've mentioned before, these are 100% cotton so they do not have any stretch. I wouldn't recommend these for more curvier folks with a smaller waist or else you'll have that gapping around at the waist.
