I've worn Levis since I was 'boomed'. They are my jeans of choice. I had been wearing 505's of my usual size. Had been. I preferred that closer fit. But a few pairs I've owned in recent years seem to have split near the seam at the bottom of the zipper. So recently, I have been going with the looser-fitting 550's. Less tension on the material. (And no, I don't want a pair of the new part-spandex variety.) They are otherwise quite durable. Wearing a year-old pair today. Retiring an in-otherwise-good-condition pair of split 505's. Just got three new pairs. of 550's. (Cyber pants?) Delivered in two days. These fit as expected. A little loose on the thigh, length is below my ankle when my leg is straight, and above it when I'm sitting with a bent leg. Waist is a little loose, but stays up with my belt.

I'm a dude who doesn't look at other dudes. But when I put on these jeans, I was in awe of how perfect my rear was. I had to do a double-take to make sure it was in fact, me in the mirror. I bike a couple times a week, but also sport the traditional dad-bod. Expectations of me are near a lifelong low. However, these jeans catapulted me into a realm of sexy that was previously unheard of, even in my peak years. These jeans very well might have been the entire reason behind Mr. Timberlake's song about bringing sexy back. The color and fit of the jeans is exquisite. The length is ideal. The waist is exactly as expected. The magic they unleashed was off the charts. Go ahead and buy yourself a pair of these jeans. You won't regret it!

I only wish I had purchased a couple more pair of these before they sold out! I have been buying jeans that ave never really fit me properly. I have one of those "odd" shapes at my age. (and no.. not telling my age but I have a slight beer gut and very thin legs). I have been hovering between a 38 and 40 size but have wasted lots of money on "thin jeans" that just look horrible on me. Some fit my legs perfectly, but the waist was too tight or vice versa..These are just the right fit for my legs and waist and relaxed.

For me, good jeans can be hard to find. 550's Relaxed fit are in my opinion the best, most durable, comfortable and rugged jeans out for. Not a-lot the things whether that be clothing, cars, appliances are designed to only last a short while in the hopes that the consumer buys more of them. But Levi's Jeans are built to last, and not just to be replaced. The 550's relaxed are perfect for working, walking, hiking, but have a level of class that are even adaptable to formal events. I'm a college student and often find myself struggling to pay upwards of $100 dollar clothing items, making Levi's affordable, long lasting, and sustainable. Theres a reason why when you go thrifting almost all of the Jeans you find are Levi's, they just refuse to quit on you. When you think jeans, think Levi's.

I learned to appreciated this model 550 Levis and its perfect fit for me (strong legs of an enthusiastic bicyclist) already decades ago in the US - unfortunately it is seldom to never available in Germany. So I had to purchase further supply of them on several business trips or get them "imported" by a helpful colleague. Now retired I enjoy to order still the same fine model and quality here - needless to say: international delivery to Germany is most appreciated!
