I’ve ordered 8 or so of these in different colors and fabrics for my husband, who had been wearing 505’s since I can remember. The quality has been consistently good on all I received, but there are sizing differences depending on the fabric content, and occasionally the sizing differences seem a little random. I’ve ordered both 100% cotton, and 99% cotton with 1% elastane. This pair has the elastane, which adds a some stretch which is more comfortable, according to my husband. He took a 33 waist in the Timberwolf and they fit well. The fabric is thick and has some give, holds it’s shape nicely. I do want to point out that I ordered other colors in the same fabric mix, 99% cotton, 1% elastane, and he needed the 34 waist. It makes more sense that he’s needed the 34 waist in the ones that are 100% cotton. If you’re on the fence regarding size, order more than one size and return what doesn’t fit, or use the try before you buy option. Also note that the prices change a lot on these 5O5’s, so watch them. I’ve purchased these from $17.00- $40.00, and I’ve seen them as high as over $60.00. ... show more

I purchased these for my husband to wear to my company christmas party. At first they said they'd be on time, then later got an email said arrive day of party. Pleasantly surprised they came 5 days early!!! The fit is perfect!! Always count on Levi's to fit good.

These Levi's fit as expected. I wear a 34/30 and this pair is just right. Ordered another, darker pair at the same time, same size, and they are tighter for some reason(?)

I was looking to replace my unwashed (rigid) 505 jeans but are no longer available through Amazon. I don't like paying $50 for jeans that are already degraded. Unwashed jeans are still available in the 501 jeans (button fly), but I wanted a zipper.     • Levis are made of quality material, but inconsistent in fit.

It's critical that jeans fit a little loose in waist considering that they are 100% cotton. These are snug in the waist. Because they are made in so many different countries they are not consistent in fit.
