I have lived out of this suitcase everyday for the last 15 months and it has held up SO WELL!!! And still going strong! After 15 months of living out of it, it's only gotten a few scuffs and scratches on the metal corners which seem to be the purpose behind having them, just amazing to me. The zippers have held up very well and have had no problems with them other than in that front pocket, because I stuff the suitcase so full, going around the corners then zipper will sometimes skip over, but I've just learned to hold it tight at the top and it zips smoothly. The handles on the outside have held up really well too, although I wonder if I'm going to break them one day because of how I take it in and out of the car all the time by them, but they too are going strong and are comfortable and in the right places. The wheels are very smooth and convenient too! When I first got it, I had set it down on the front porch (that didn't have a railing at the time) and they rolled so smooth it rolled right off the porch from the little tilt it had! It still rolls just as smoothly and have no problems with the wheels turning or anything. The extendable handle is great too, and can stop at different heights and have had no problems with it at all. The lock on the side of it works great too, very easy to work. The suitcase also comes with an extra lock for the front zipper pouch since those zippers don't have a built in lock. I keep a lot of letter making stuff, my phone charger and a couple books on that front pocket, but unfortunately, that's about all it can take because it shares the same space as the inside of the suitcase. I keep my suitcase extended all the time and has been super flexible with it so it will still close when I don't have my clothes folded nicely in my packing cubes and in my laundry bag instead. I've learned how to maximize the space too with putting my pj's and some workout stuff in the spaces the handle makes, so this suitcase can actually hold a lot! The mesh inside zipper pocket is great, I wish there was another pocket in it though, so I safety-pinned a pouch to the other side which works great and doesn't encroach on the space I need for other things! The side that the extention is on can hold a lot even if it wasn't extended, but I prefer to keep it extended, it just flexes easier and more comfortablely. It's a lot deeper than it seems at first which I love and am glad for.

This is a VERY functional suitcase if you have muscles. It starts out heavy at 9 lbs. but then you put in your laptop, a couple of paperbacks, clothes, makeup etc. and then you have a very heavy little carry-on bag. This suitcase would be difficult to get into the overhead if you are a woman. If you expand it it may be over the allowed width limit to fit into the measuring device at the airplane door. I wish I could have kept this but, as much as I loved the idea of putting my laptop and items together, it will not work for me.

1st the negative - beautiful cloth cover for storage is nice but it took a lot for me to untie the tight knot. pros: reviewers who said they had a problem unlocking it after delivery... perhaps they didn't read the instruction to ensure # was factory set to 000, and then push the big button... after I pushed the big button the 1 locked zipper thing popped right out. I set to my own combination, and worked fine. Same weight as carryone almost half its size from LL Bean so now I can pack more and still be under airline limit. blue color is beautiful, distinctive, and metal corners nice protection. my Bean was when all were 2-wheeled and that did strain my old body to pull through long terminals, so I welcome 4 very smooth and quiet wheels. two insides have elastic X to hold clothes and zippered dividers to keep everything in each side. I especially like the front section that can open with room for passport, pen, and several other pockets... not just there to take a laptop out for TSA inspection. of course only lots of use will tell how well the wheels hold up but no reviewers have complained so far. I plan to take a backpack for underseat electronics etc and use its strap to fasten to the top of this luggage as I traverse airports.

After years of carrying my carry-on through the airport (it weighs 13.5 pounds), I was envious of all those people with carry-on-size spinner bags. When I started looking, I knew that I could buy one for less that $100. The truth is that you can buy one for less than $100 but when I found this one with all the features I wanted, I sprang for $140. IT WAS SO WORTH IT! This bag has the smoothest spinning wheels I've ever seen on any luggage. I'm so grateful that I chose it over the less expensive models.

I was contemplating purchasing a popular name brand carry on but don't travel enough to justify the expenditure. Saw this and decided to give it a try. Worked so well for me I purchased an additional one for my daughter. Fits great in overhead compartment, rolls nicely and the inside is designed to keep your clothes compact. The outside laptop pocket allows you to protect and store your laptop with easy access so your personal item is lighter. Also a great place to store other quick access items when not using for laptop like bathing suit, flip flops, books. It also expands giving you more room if you need it. Very happy with the purchase.

I ordered this item last minute for a trip and it's been better than expected! Very sturdy while still light and easy to maneuver. It's not always easy to access stuff from the front pocket without unzipping it entirely, but that's a minor inconvenience especially in exchange from protecting items from external damage.
