    • 200 yard chest shot
Very easy to zero and the zero works great with the BDC. Zeroed at 100 yards. I clover leafed a 3 shot 1moa group using my Alice pack as a rest. 16 inch 450 Bushmaster on a personal built AR platform. I stepped it out to 200 yards using a range finder. I dialed the turret to 200 and squeezed off 3 more for a 1 1/2 inch group. Next I took it to the max BDC setting of 300 yards. Shot another 3 shot group.( 450 isn’t cheap) This group was 3 inch. I then dialed it back to 100 yards and shot another 3 shot group. 1 MOA. Ready for deer season. 15 ft ladder stand with a rifle rest. 20 degrees clear sky’s. It was getting late and I still had one more doe tag to fill. Out steps a big ole doe at a guesstimated 200 yards. I dialed the BDC to 200 held it on her white chest patch and sent it. She dropped where she stood. I caught her slightly low left but the 450 Bushmaster 250 gr Hornady flex tip did its job. Excellent combination 450/Leupold/Hornady. Highly recommend this scope. Zero issues hunting in rain and snow. BDC was easy to manipulate even in single digit temps. No fogging no issues whatsoever. Great Job Leupold ... show more

Have not zero in at range but used laser bore scope so I should be on paper. While making adjustments the controls feel good and sound good. I really like the glass, this scop is designed to take the recoil of the .450 Bushmaster, I also like the custom dialing system (CDS) that the company offers. Go to YouTube and watch if you don’t know what it is. I would recommend this scope ... show more

Why try all these Johnny come lately’s in the optics department? I admit, I also tried a few and immediately sent them all back. Tired of trying and regretting, I decided to go with the tried and true. Less in price than all the others and what a great scope! Lots of eye relief and clear as an azure sky in the deepest summer! So I had purchased a 9x50 instead of a 9x40 returned and repurchased the correct one. When I purchased the correct one it showed not being delivered until January 2nd -9th which I was perfectly fine with that. It was Delivered on December 28th. This company does not mess around.
