Review for a Leupold 4-12x50 CDS. I am an avid hunter and shooter and have owned scopes from many other manufacturers. Zeiss, Hawke, Bushnell, Nikon, Vortex and older Leupolds. Vari-X and VX-2 But This scope is the clearest I ever owned. This thing is crystal clear. The eye relief is very long as well. If I had any complaints 1. the eye box is dead on there is no error when aiming. You can see though it perfect or not at all 2. The scope tube is short so you may have to play with some different rings or rails. The magnification ring works perfect with a short throw from 4-12 But I am hooked now The new VX-Freedom or New Leupold scopes is all I will buy from now on. I love leupold scopes. This one I purchased for a rifle my wife got me for Christmas. 6.5 creedmore. Clarity is awesome, and 3 shots, with the help of a LeadSled, had me zeroed at 150 yards.
