I've never actually used wiggle wire before, although I knew of its existence. I'm in the process of building a chicken run (from EMT) and wanted to put a 55% translucency greenhouse plastic on it to keep most of the weather out. After struggling to make greenhouse pipe clamps work (through hardware cloth) to get the sheet plastic tight, I threw up my hands and ordered this. What a difference! First off, the self drilling screws actually work (granted, it's aluminum, but still . . . ,) and installing the wiggle wire in the channels couldn't be easier. I found it very intuitive. Also, changing out the plastic sheeting down the line when it inevitably fails (although this stuff is supposed to be good for 4 years minimum) should be a snap. I'm sold. Now maybe I'll need to build an actual greenhouse.

I use this to hold a tarp on my roof on my greenhouse ,was very easy to install. We have high winds and it’s holding the tarp nice and tight. Very happy, will probably get more of this.

Sad but true, we had a tornado come through and rip our complex apart. Our greenhouse became a kite and was relocated a mile away. HOWEVER……. These rails never let go, everyone of them was still holding onto the plastic and at spots the plastic ripped before these puppies let go, very impressed and when we become less discouraged we will buy them again….

I put this up to winterize my chicken run. The channel was pretty easy to install but the screws are not quite long enough to secure the channel that well. It held up all winter but by spring a lot of the channel was barely still connected to the run. The wiggle wire was a little tricky for me to get in but with help I was able to secure the plastic around the run. It works as it is designed. I will just have to reinstall a lot of the channel prior to using next fall.

I was hesitant but bought them worked fantastic. It stretches the plastic as you install it. Yes the tracks can handle 2 layers of plastic and 2 wires you can bend them around the corners. Fricking awesome. The screws I received were fine just go easy don’t over tighten I did a few but threw some #8 outdoor 1 1/2 “ tourqe drive screws instead in the hole after I removed the hex head screw. Worked great. Highly recommended. Was amazed at the simplicity.Buy them!

I live on a location that snows and the temperature can drop quite low. Chickens have feathers to protect them from cold, but extreme cold is not good for them, specially if windy. I installed these after seeing them on a tiktok. They are fantastic, easy to install, and then just remove the spring wire for summer and they are ready for when winter hits again. Screws that came with worked great. Used a mitter saw to cut one of them shorter and it was easy.
